Service slow and prices above average

I found that the quality of the fish ravioli was good but the selection of bread brought to the table was disappointing. The house white wine was OK. Maybe because I went on a Saturday evening I found that the service was slow (only 2 people to tend the tables). The bill came with only the final... read more

Absolutely loved this restaurant. It's a lovely family run restaurant with very tasty food and great service. Not only did I love the food but the place too. It's a bit hidden in a small street. It's very cosy, absolutely loved the atmosphere. Couldn't have enjoyed the food more, it was very fresh and tasty, the prices are also very... More

Down a little side street off the northern end of Via Cairoli - there's a sign on the main street. Superb quality food, very well presented. Staff very pleasant and unpretentious. A highlight of my visit to Genoa - well worth seeking out.

Situated pretty close to the beautiful white train station of Genoa, on a quite hidden narrow street, the restaurant resembles a wine cellar and had excellent wine bottles exhibited on the walls. You should definitely try the pumpkin gnocchi with parmesan and the cheese plate which comes with home made fig jam and honey. Oh, and don't forget about the... More

Food-very good authentic Italian; a broad menu for a smaller restaurant Wine-good selection again; we were happy with the house red Atmosphere-good, nothing out of the ordinary; on a Saturday night was full, but the noise level was reasonable Service-good at the typical Italian pace Tips-to be safe, a reservation would be recommended; on Saturday, the first seating was 7:30pm

restaurant is hard to find among the streets of the center. We arrived at 13.00 on Monday and the room was only a few people. We chose tuna for me and sea bass for my wife. dishes were beautifully served with a tasty sauce. housemade white wine was not something tasty. much fun we did not get, but for dinner... More

Da Gaia was recommended to me by an Italian work colleague, and very pleased I am to have taken his advice and visited the restaurant. I have booked again for Thursday evening so I can try some of the other dishes! I had a great fish soup with black beans which was an interesting variation on the genre, and Pork... More

A small restaurant down a dark narrow side street in the old part of town once through the narrow door and down the steps into the bar it opens up into a very pleasant rustic set of rooms .My wife and I ate there twice and on both occasions the food was excellent .the place is popular with locals and...
