Good Food

A great spot just outside of the train station. I had the special which was homemade pasta with fresh pesto sauce and it was delicious. My husband had fresh filleted anchovies in a lemon butter sauce and they were very good. I would recommend this place for a casual lunch.

We had lunch at the Blue Marlin Bar and it turned out to be the best pasta dish so far on our 16 days tour of Italy. The pizza is also delicious and the service good. You can't go wrong.

After spending a wonderful month in Florence, Italy, I was getting homesick for eggs and bacon for breakfast. My room in Vernazza (Cinque Terre) was just across the street from the Blue Marlin, so I went there just to check it out. I admitted right away that I was going to just do "the American thing" with Eggs, Bacon, Veggies... More

Blue Marlin is a popular cafe for all hours. We enjoyed it for breakfast; many seemed to enjoy it for lunch or dinner, and loud music testified for late evening enjoyment.

Loved the look, the atmosphere, and my Aperol Spritz was mighty fine too. Great service and great English spoken by lovely man.

I absolutely adore this place. A friend and I had breakfast here two mornings in a row - wonderful pastries, fresh eggs and pancetta, yogurt and cereal, great coffee and fresh juice - everything you could want! The people are incredibly friendly, the place has a warm, artsy environment (a bit eccentric). The day we were supposed to leave there... More

Most places were closed and the spots by the water were expensive so we came here and loved it. The salads were delicious and fresh, soup was great and house wine was good. Service was friendly and they spoke great English. All for only $30 Euros. Great little spot!

Service was poorer than most restaurants in Vernazza, but not a deal-breaker by any means. One of the only places for an egg-based breakfast and the last place to close if you're looking for an evening drink.
