Blue Marlin serves breakfast, bacon and eggs for 6€! what else can you ask for? Fruit juice for 3€! worth a try!

Had breakfast there twice. Eggs were greasy and vegetables tasted "off". " Fruit" on the menu means "banana", which you could literally buy at the adjacent coop for half the price and the same level of preparation. This place caters to tourists who are so enamored with the town, they forget about the price and quality of their food.

We stopped in at the Blue Marlin several times during our stay in Vernazza. The owner was quite friendly and funny. One afternoon I ordered a prosecco. He brought it out and said, "You like my prosecco?" I said I did and then he brought us olives, pistachios, peanuts, and little salami sandwiches, grabbed our camera off the table and... More

The owner was warm and happy, gave us hugs, and was a true delight! He also served eggs for breakfast, which was great because all the continuous pastries and sweets in the morning can get old..... His staff was awesome as well! :)

Only tried breakfast here once before a day of exploring. Ordered a panini and a bacon and eggs; super fast service on the panini though almost 40 minute wait for scrambled eggs and two charcoal pieces of bacon. Perhaps the lunch, dinner and drinks provide a better experience however our breakfast was not worth the money nor waiting time.

The staff were great and we were welcomed by a very enthusiastic cafe owner! He played the piano for us, yelled a bit at his staff and waved his hands around in his passionate stereotypical Italian way. The food was excellent. Worth visiting.

Great bar in Vernazza for people of all ages. We went on a Tuesday night around 9pm, and it wasn't too crowded at all. Very casual and laid back. The drinks are cheap -- we got a liter of wine for 11 euro to share, and they gave us some free appetizers! They have free wifi, and music playing. They... More

Just be warned - we went to Blue Marlin Cafe for the eggs, only to be told they don't serve eggs until after 9am - incredible!! You've been warned! We couldn't wait, so we had tea, coffee and bread rolls - which were all good, but not the eggs we were looking forward to. Located quite near the train station,... More
