In the midst of crowds...tired...thirsty....hungry - we stumbled on the Blue Marlin. The wine was excellent (what else in Italy?), the food adequate - but the experience made our day and added to a string of unforgettable people experiences while we vacationed in Italy these last two weeks. Italy is beautiful, beyond beauty. The food is other worldly. The wine... More

Sit outside, sip wine, eat a delicious meal, and enjoy the BEST people watching. Stay as long as you would like and be sure to ask about the story of the Oct. 2011 flood.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on our last night in the Cinque Terre. The food was great--we shared a pesto pizza, and then a chocolate torte for dinner. Noticed that most of the people in the restaurant were locals, and the atmosphere was convivial. Our host was really cool, visited with us a bit each time he... More

The eggs and bacon breakfast was average. Coffee was great. Huge plus that they have wifi, but you must sit inside to access it. Only accepts cash.

Do not miss a stop in the Blue Marlin Cafe and please have a Chocolate Ice Cream. You will never forget the experience! Order a two euros one, the three euros are just too big!

Nothing to write home about here. Go elsewhere for breakfast of you are looking for somewhere to go. Better off going to the little bakery a few doors down. Average food, coffee & service.

Stopped by the Blue Marlin to have an egg breakfast while in Vernazza. I enjoyed the eggs with vegetables and quiet surroundings. I thought the portions were small but us Americans think everything has to be big to be good. My companions enjoyed the Prosciutto sandwiches. (outdoor and indoor seating)

This is the place. Perfect for breakfast, lite lunch, coffee and drinks, etc. Nothing fancy, but excellent coffee and pastries (many home made cakes and tortes), AND you can get eggs and bacon if you so desire! There is a good bar, and at night, where all the day trippers have departed, the locals and those staying in town have... More

We were shamelessly looking for a place that served eggs for breakfast- I just couldn't stomach another sweet pastry! Thankfully we found Blue Marlin on our first morning. The bacon and eggs were perfect, exactly what we needed and not too pricey. Happily we went back a further 2 times. We only went for breakfast, so can't comment on the... More
