Best cappuccinos!

We only came for breakfast, but it was 4 times in total :) Best cappuccino in town. Best croissants too. Service can be a bit slow, but always w a smile. And remember, it is slow-ish bc the place is always full, and that's always a good sign. Plus, you are on holidays! sit back and relax.

Super easy place located right near the train station of Vernazza. For all those people craving eggs for breakfast, they've got 'em (can be scrambled or fried). Not typical Italian breakfast fare and average in taste, but if you are hankering for eggs, I recommend getting them with crispy bacon here with the foccacia with ham to make an egg... More

The only restaurant open late, the staff at the Blue Marlin greeted us warmly and was happy to make us dinner even though we arrived after 10 p.m. And before they shut down the kitchen they asked us if we would like anything more to eat. Great place.

This was our favorite bar in Vernazza. We ended up here at one point or another each of our four nights in town. The staff is incredibly friendly, and by the fourth night they were welcoming us in like locals. In spite of the American name, the bar and restaurant is mostly filled with Italians. We loved it and can't... More

Pop in here for a yummy disgestif and ask the lovely Franco for a peach daquiri or a whiskey sour. Massimo is the friendly owner and if you can catch the jazz night you're in for treat.

I've hiked from Monterosso to Vernazza twice, and each time I walked straight off the trail to Blue Marlin for a spritz. I enjoy the relaxed environment and friendly staff; this place reminds me of the cafes in my hometown of Santa Cruz, CA. Don't expect a cloth napkin or to be bothered by your waitperson every 3 minutes. Just... More

Breakfast there was ok. Not great. But if you want eggs it's Blue Marlin or bust. I found the two servers to be somewhat disinterested and borderline rude. Not many options in Vernazza so they have a corner on the market. I'm sure some people love it, it just wasn't for me.

The staff was so nice to stay open a few minutes longer so we could have some breakfast, as they were closing early for a funeral. Boy, having protein (scrambled eggs were never more welcomed after a week of pastries and carbs for breakfast!) was such a treat and helped us get through our morning without a carb/sugar crash. Fresh... More

The owner is rude. The food is ok. Walk a hundred metres further to friendly service and good food. We ate breakfast here and while the menu looks good and has a broad selection of food including muesli, they didn't have what we're after. But we were happy to have something else. The service was slow, and they mix up... More

Perfect for a coffee and people watching. Located on the Main Street, the Blue Marlin has easy counter access or street seating. Go early morning to avoid the hordes of tourists. A simple cappucino and a cereal with yogurt is a simple and cost effective breakfast.
