Ate breakfast here 2 of the 3 days wevwere in Cinque Terre's Vernazza. They were friendly and had great pastries and coffee.

This is the place. Perfect for breakfast, lite lunch, coffee and drinks, etc. Nothing fancy, but excellent coffee and pastries (many home made cakes and tortes), AND you can get eggs and bacon if you so desire! There is a good bar, and at night, where all the day trippers have departed, the locals and those staying in town have... More

We were shamelessly looking for a place that served eggs for breakfast- I just couldn't stomach another sweet pastry! Thankfully we found Blue Marlin on our first morning. The bacon and eggs were perfect, exactly what we needed and not too pricey. Happily we went back a further 2 times. We only went for breakfast, so can't comment on the... More

This is a decent spot, along the main drag of Vernazza. If you are tired of the flaky pastries, creamed filled rolls and cakes for breakfast (by day 4 it can get to be a bit over the top), then you can come over here for a more "Anglo-style" egg breakfast. nothing special, but in these parts somewhat unique.

We had a delicious pizza, some other snacks, and a liter of the house wine. The pesto was delicious as well! Overall, the food was a great value. It was nice to sit outside and watch the people go by in Vernazza!

Very average food (the salads are okay). Staff are generally helpful but can also be very sour. Male waiters, from what I have experienced in France and Italy, are usually grouchy and Blue Marlin is no exception. Yes, it must be tough working in a tourist restaurant in a tourist town but don't take it out on the customers. (If... More

Ducked into this place after walking about 12 miles and getting caught in the rain. Glad I did! Prices were reasonable and the quality of food and wine was excellent. Service was great as well and this was all on a very crowded "'cruise ship day" where cruise ships dump day trippers and you have to fight the throngs of... More

I have been to the Blue Marlin several times for breakfast over the last decade. My last visit was no exception, although I also spent a few hours here watching a World Cup match. The service has varied greatly - from excellent to almost non existent. This is one of the only places in town that you can find eggs... More

Blue Marlin serves breakfast, bacon and eggs for 6€! what else can you ask for? Fruit juice for 3€! worth a try!

Had breakfast there twice. Eggs were greasy and vegetables tasted "off". " Fruit" on the menu means "banana", which you could literally buy at the adjacent coop for half the price and the same level of preparation. This place caters to tourists who are so enamored with the town, they forget about the price and quality of their food.
