Service was poorer than most restaurants in Vernazza, but not a deal-breaker by any means. One of the only places for an egg-based breakfast and the last place to close if you're looking for an evening drink.

Average service and average food, but the prices are good! The restaurant is on the main street in Vernazza which provides good people watching and you're only a short (<1min) stroll to the water/beach.

Fresh veggies in scrambled eggs, green tea, fresh squeezed orange juice. Good music. Art and photos and books worth reading; a piano that's tuned. The tiny kitchen and personal service.

This is a great cafe for breakfast. We even had eggs and after 2 months in Italy we truly enjoyed it! The owner is a real fun character as he makes his rounds teasing and laughing with the customers. Do stop in for a coffee and breakfast. It won't disappoint!

We came here so the BF can get his daily caffe latte the morning we left Vernazza since the place we have been going to (Burgus) was closed! The outside seating was great since we had our luggage with us. The BF thought his caffe latte was OK but I liked the apple torte we ordered. All in all, this... More

Vernazza is a pretty small village in Cinque Tere but the Blue Marlin Cafe is worthy of a larger place. It has a really excellent location just below the train station or just below the start of town if you have walked down from the tourbus stop. We were there mid morning and had a cappuccino and an espresso along... More

Food here was good and service very good. Orders were taken quickly and food prepared nicely and delivered promptly. Server good have been a little more pleasant but that is the only thing I thought of.

We had two of the daily specials - pesto pasta and spaghetti with mussels. Both were fantastic, cheap and good serving size. Staff were great and we were even serenaded for half an hour by the owner on the piano! Coffee and house white were also delicious. All up (two pastas, two macchiatos and 1/4 litre of wine) €25.90!

This is my favorite place in Vernazza to sit down and enjoy a cappuccino and a croissant for breakfast. There's just a nice, relaxing atmosphere to the place. It's also a great little spot to sit outside in the late afternoon to have a drink and relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff are really nice and friendly and... More

We visited Blue Marlin on various occassions - the atmosphere is nice and chilled out, music choice is great and service good.
