We had a delicious pizza, some other snacks, and a liter of the house wine. The pesto was delicious as well! Overall, the food was a great value. It was nice to sit outside and watch the people go by in Vernazza!

Very average food (the salads are okay). Staff are generally helpful but can also be very sour. Male waiters, from what I have experienced in France and Italy, are usually grouchy and Blue Marlin is no exception. Yes, it must be tough working in a tourist restaurant in a tourist town but don't take it out on the customers. (If... More

Ducked into this place after walking about 12 miles and getting caught in the rain. Glad I did! Prices were reasonable and the quality of food and wine was excellent. Service was great as well and this was all on a very crowded "'cruise ship day" where cruise ships dump day trippers and you have to fight the throngs of... More

I have been to the Blue Marlin several times for breakfast over the last decade. My last visit was no exception, although I also spent a few hours here watching a World Cup match. The service has varied greatly - from excellent to almost non existent. This is one of the only places in town that you can find eggs... More

Blue Marlin serves breakfast, bacon and eggs for 6€! what else can you ask for? Fruit juice for 3€! worth a try!

Had breakfast there twice. Eggs were greasy and vegetables tasted "off". " Fruit" on the menu means "banana", which you could literally buy at the adjacent coop for half the price and the same level of preparation. This place caters to tourists who are so enamored with the town, they forget about the price and quality of their food.

We stopped in at the Blue Marlin several times during our stay in Vernazza. The owner was quite friendly and funny. One afternoon I ordered a prosecco. He brought it out and said, "You like my prosecco?" I said I did and then he brought us olives, pistachios, peanuts, and little salami sandwiches, grabbed our camera off the table and... More

The owner was warm and happy, gave us hugs, and was a true delight! He also served eggs for breakfast, which was great because all the continuous pastries and sweets in the morning can get old..... His staff was awesome as well! :)

Only tried breakfast here once before a day of exploring. Ordered a panini and a bacon and eggs; super fast service on the panini though almost 40 minute wait for scrambled eggs and two charcoal pieces of bacon. Perhaps the lunch, dinner and drinks provide a better experience however our breakfast was not worth the money nor waiting time.
