Pricey restaurant

It was a little pricey generally. However, if you are not on a budget, I recommend you to try this restaurant and order the seafood here. We went on Christmas and it was fortunately opened despite little crowd.

The swordfish, fresh anchovies baked with tomatoes and potatoes, and seafood spaghetti were special treats. Great service, beautiful place. It was really terrific all around.

Helpful and friendly wait staff, great seafood specialties, reasonable prices. We went with the local seafood recommendations.

... but we were not at all impressed. At the end of the day, you don't really come to Cinque Terre for good food. We just popped by, after visiting Verona, Bologna, Modena and Parma (were we had some great food). And so we didn't have great expectations, but the food was really disappointing given the reviews (and the certificate... More

I wanted to try this place out when I visited Vernazza, but since I was travelling alone, I had no chance of getting a table. Some places are more accommodating than others in this respect. It's a shame, but I guess I can understand them not wanting to waste a table on someone visiting solo. I'm giving it one star,... More

This was our last dinner during our stay in Cinque Terre and it was one of the best tasting and most enjoyable. We echo the sentiments on how good the ravioli and walnut sauce is. The couple who runs the restaurant were pleasant and quite funny. Highly recommend to those visiting any of the Cinque Terre towns and especially to... More

We came back here twice the fish was the best. Desserts are worth having twice. Many unique dishes to the area we love trying all the dishes on the menu.

We enjoyed a memorable lunch here after arriving in Vernazza an hour or so earlier. We just beat the rush, so had a few minutes to enjoy the lovely ambience and calm atmosphere before it started filling up. We ordered a meal typical of the town, including an excellent anchovy appetizer, caprese salad, and pesto lasagna. We would have liked... More

The trofie al pesto was outstanding. I enjoyed the small pieces of potato they put in the dish. The vegetarian ravioli with walnut sauce was also great, but very rich.

Easily the best food and friendliest service we had over 4 days in Vernazza. TripAdvisor top recommendations, Gianni Franzi and Il Baretto, failed on both fronts. There's no pretending that the train noise from the nearby station isn't a downside - it's loud and occasionally ear-splitting - but most people are able to make a joke of it and carry... More
