We ate here twice, and couldn't have been more satisfied. This is not haute cuisine, but if you want local, simple, delicious seafood and wine, this is the place. The seafood risotto is really amazing. We also had spaghetti with seafood, and the very local anchovies with potato and tomato dish. Not for the hamburger-and-fries crowd.

If you want eat better, go at other restaurant. This restaurant, trattoria piva, it's terrible and more expasive. I don't like it. The fish is all frozen

This was a lovely little restaurant with courteous staff and a very relax atmosphere . The food was delicious , fresh and very typical of the region , simple flavours but they use local produce which is amazing quality. It was light and just perfect if your trekking around the mountains. We would definitely return .

This interesting spot sits "up" in an alley, off the main drag in Vernazza. The menu is limited, but features very typical Ligurian cuisine -- sardines, mussels, pesto, etc. Excellent risotto. Simple dishes, decently prepared. Owner Piave is a very colorful "salt," who worked for the Italian Cruise Line for years, until retiring to his hometown and operating this trattoria.... More

Was interesting to read the reviews, I wasn't expected to find so many bad once.... We had a nice experience and the risotto was to die for( I am a very picky eater) it doesn't compare with any other I had in Italy. Beside that the atmosphere in the restaurants and the character of Italian people might be a little... More

Stepped in here as we got turned away in several other places during busy lunch hour. Food is very ordinary, low quality and extremely overpriced, all the restaurants in Cinque Terre are touristy and pricey but this was our worst experience. Paid €44 for a mozzarella tuna and tomato salad, fried seafood (small portion and most of it was frozen... More

We wanted a quick bite to eat before starting the hike from Vernazza to Monterosso, and decided to stop here as it seemed quaint and tucked away in a side street. But in all honesty, this was the most disappointing meal we had in Italy. We had the sardine fillets to share and a beer and glass of wine. The... More

We got frutta,di mare and seafood risotto. The frutta di mare was a sampling of oyster langostino shrimp and anchovies seasoned with lemon, salt and olive oil. The seafood risotto was like a stew and the soup was very good. We enjoyed dinner and our personal serenade from pivo and his friends. We left with full bellies and a cd.

We kept seeing people eating out of a huge bowl as we walked past, and we finally stopped for dinner one night. We definitely were not disappointed! The atmosphere is pleasant with a private feeling. There was some confusion about the serving sizes that we ordered because we thought we ordered two bowls (4 servings). We actually ordered one bowl... More

The seafood risotto is amazing! Great spot to sit and drink wine too! Would definitely recommend! We will be back too!
