We got frutta,di mare and seafood risotto. The frutta di mare was a sampling of oyster langostino shrimp and anchovies seasoned with lemon, salt and olive oil. The seafood risotto was like a stew and the soup was very good. We enjoyed dinner and our personal serenade from pivo and his friends. We left with full bellies and a cd.

We kept seeing people eating out of a huge bowl as we walked past, and we finally stopped for dinner one night. We definitely were not disappointed! The atmosphere is pleasant with a private feeling. There was some confusion about the serving sizes that we ordered because we thought we ordered two bowls (4 servings). We actually ordered one bowl... More

Had lunch - one ( Moule mariniere) was OK ( probably some ready ade pro zen stuff) the other (mixed fried seafood - mostly octopus rings and a terrible dried shrimp) was not worth eating. The bread was surprisingly good and fresh. Also overpriced - but guess that Cinque Terra in total is an overpriced tourist trap.

We came after our hike from Monterosso because we heard great things about the seafood risotto, and it was delicious! The two of us shared the huge dish along with a side of spinach, and it was plenty. Note- the price on the menu is per person (26 euros for two people, the menu only shows 13 euros). The staff... Great sampling of local seafood and good wine. The staff was very attentive, and the preferred dish here is the seafood stew. It comes boiling hot to your table.

We arrived 5 minutes early. The chef invited us in. We decided on the Seafood Risotto. We were the only customers there the whole entire time. I asked for him to turn on some music. As we sat there, eating the bread and drinking the wine, we believe the son & owner arrived. Things got loud talking about Americanos this... More

Piva was just down the steps from our room atop la torre, so it was quite convenient. we ate there on our second night in vernazza and i was starving when we went in. we sat inside and the waiter was a real sweetheart, i believe he is Piva's son. it's very casual. a man was playing guitar and singing... We've been here, searching for having lunch. It was a rainy day and the place hasn't change the situation. It was not in the main road (but it was in a road very near). The place look like a simple and tipical osteria and in fact it was. Also the food was simple and tipical. It wasn't bad but neither... More
