The mixed seafood antipasti was wonderful. Acciughe fresh from the sea. Nothing better! Get your reservation to eat on the edge of the cliff for maximum view at sunset.

We had dinner here one evening. The best views go to tables of four or more. The two of us had a nice table, but no view except of the dining room. The food was excellent and our waiter was very funny and very efficient--excellent service. Price was commensurate with the quality of the food and service.

My husband and I ate here this evening. We thought with it being so out of the way, but with prices similar to other menus, that it would be nice. When we arrived, the family and staff were eating and they seated us but said they would open when they were finished eating. We purposefully did not eat at another... More

We came for a late lunch and were amazed by the beautiful view. The restaurant was half empty and people were leaving. However, it proofed difficult to get the attention of any of the waiters and it turned out to be impossible to get any of the free tables except the one in the middle if the traffic of leaving... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Al Castello did not only undercook a simple pasta dish but they too pulled the plastic between us and the rest of the restaurant when the wind picked up, leaving you feel forgotten and everything was down hill from there. The waiter was rude and neither he nor the manager seemed... More

I am a TOTAL foodie and am simply shocked at the negative reviews on this restaurant! Friends and I just returned from 3 wks in Italy, visiting numerous cities and villages, and eating at all types of restaurants. Our lunch at Al Castello was absolutely the best meal of all of them! As so many have stated, the pesto lasagna... More

We reserved earlier in the day for a table by the railing During dinner the wind picked up and they pulled plastic draping around the outside of the restaurant up to but not including our table so we sat in the wind and froze! Service was terrible - waiter literally threw menus on the table and trying to get him... More

Steer clear of the eating spots near the water and get. Lovely view and meal at the castle! Wonderful service, family run, can't beat the location. Enjoy eating where there are NOT large tour groups. It is a little bit of a hike up, but worth it.

We had a very good experience at Ristorante Al Castello. The owner took great care of us from the moment we arrived, made sure my fiance and I had a great view. The best thing we ordered was the pesto lasagne - take heed of this advice, my fiance did and I didn't and I definitely regretted it - so... More

You have to order the Lasagne al pesto. Its very different than most lasagna, Its just pesto and cheese. But there is something amazing about it. I can't explain you just have to try it, We also had the seafood pasta which was fresh and simple (in a good way). The location offers great views of the water as well.... More
