Perfect for Sunset Views with Dinner

A nice choice for getting away from the more packed area of the Vernazza harbor for dinner. The best views of sunset, without doubt. Friendly service - we made a reservation around mid-day for dinner and when we arrived, they had our sea/cliffside table held for us with a piece of paper with our... read more

Disillusioned by the tourist hordes cramming the streets below (vernazza has little resemblance to the town I first visited 35 yr ago--thanks Rick steves etc) we retreated to our favorite spot near the castello far from the madding crowds. good food--we had the risotto al mare--and great views remind us of the old town we knew, serene and lovely. Try... More

We came here with friends and they didn't know we understood italian. They are very rude and was cursing at other guests in Italian. Never come here not worth the climb though good view. They are not friendly at all.

It is a long walk up the the restaurant, but once you get there youll be glad. This is an overall experience. The food is good, the staff is fine friendly but the views are awesome. I give it a 5 for overall experience. Four of us spent some time and ordered a few appetizers, salad and meals. We had... More

The view from this hilltop restaurant is amazing. Unfortunately, that's about the only good thing about this restaurant. We ordered calamari - it was over-fried, chewy and tough with no flavour :( My friend ordered the basil tomato spaghetti and was given pasta with pesto not what she ordered. The waiter apologised and took her dish back and returned after... More

If you get there early in the day and request a reservation for a nice table, they will put your name on a post it note and reserve a table for you that is in the back of the restaurant hanging off the cliff overlooking the sea. It is incredibly romantic and something that my fiance and I will not... More

We came for the view, and that's about all that we received. On a Thursday night, only four tables were occupied for our late dinner (9:30 pm). While several seaside tables were available, all guests were seated close to the kitchen, instead of the much better and unoccupied seats. The food wasn't bad, but seemingly slightly overpriced compared to the... More

Great meal with a million dollar view. This restaurant is found by climbing the steps to the local castle toward the end of town by the sea. We were well taken care of by our waiter, best in the 7 days we were in Rome and Cinque Terra. Wine was good, antipasti, dinner and desert was very good. We both... More

Restaurant just down from Castello Doria, the best place to stop for an evening meal. Wonderful views, atmosphere and great food. Free dessert wine and limoncello after the meal was a pleasant bonus, with the desserts a must try. Would definitely return again!
