Tasty fish soup

Their local seafood soup/stew is definitely something for seafood lovers. One portion served as a plentiful main for two, it's huge! Don' t eat pasta before it :) We did eat desserts too and the tiramisu was excellent, panna cotta also good. A warning though if you don't want fish bones, then the... read more

My friend and I stayed in Riomaggiore while visiting Cinque Terre. We had a few suppers in Riomaggiore at different restaurants over the course of our stay, and the supper we had at La Grotta was the best! We had the pesto pasta and a bottle of the house wine. Service was also great!

Good Value Pasta Dishes and House Wine. The Spaghetti Seafood cooked in Foil is a very nice dish. You may need to reserve a table if you wish to eat outside.

This is a nice spot to grab an evening evening, although recommended to book or get in early as it fills up quickly. Also recommended to go early if you want a quiet meal and want to sit outside in the conservatory part, as the bar across the road starts blasting out tunes at about 7.30! Food was good with... My little sister and I ate dinner at La Grotta twice during our stay in Cinque Terre. We had fabulous pesto pasta and great wine at affordable prices. Vintage photos and arching cave walls with exposed stone give La Grotta fabulous atmosphere. The staff is delightful, and they recognized us and greeted us warmly when we returned for our second... Lovely food and atmosphere. The stuffed mussels are to die for - so delicious! The White wine suggested by the waitress was only average so we may look harder at the list next time.

The food in Riomaggiore as a whole is very good, not excellent. This trattoria holds up. The wait staff do not speak much English so it was a little difficult but we managed. The food was very good and it was probably our favorite of the restaurants we tried in Riomaggiore. I would definitely recommend.

That's the place I learned (I hope) to like and enjoy seafood (besides shrimps). Their risotto with seafood was simply astonishing and very well served, actually it's a shame I didn't manage to eat it all (served for a couple at least). Location is perfect in the main street of Riomaggiore. The waitress was also very kind and helpful!

This restaurant had been recommended to us for its seafood. It has great ambience and is situated in the Main Street a short walk from the station. We decided on two mains as we had been for a drink and appetisers elsewhere. My spaghetti with clams, prawns and squid was a little bland and lacking in flavour. The prawns were tiny... More

Had a great dinner here with my friends while staying in Riomaggiore. The seafood pasta was excellent along with the deep fried seafood platter. The risotto was okay. The service was friendly and professional. Our B&B host recommended this restaurant to us and we were all happy with our meal. I recommend making a reservation.
