We dined here based on travel book and personal recommendations. It was a good meal. A bit chilly outside, though. I enjoyed my house pasta with porcini thoroughly. Very strong flavors. Fine meal.

There's nothing especially wrong about this place - we felt it lacked atmosphere and the service was efficient but not particularly hospitable. The food was OK, nothing we would recommend though. If you are staying in Riomaggiore then try other places first.

We had an excellent meal here: a giant grilled cuttlefish with chopped basil served on a bed of arugula and spaghetti with clams, clams, clams (at least 40 of them), home made bread (semolina?) and local wine and it was delightful except for the American tourists who wanted vodka and tonic, dessert wines as an aperitif, rum and coke etc.... Very rude staff the whole time, and they charged us extra since we wanted extra parmesan cheese for a sea food pasta dish. Not sure where they come from...

This is the first restauraunt we ate at on our first trip to the Cinque. it was so good, we also had our last meal there. Stuffed mussels, fried ravioli, green gnocchi, spicy pasta, seafood salad - they had no problem serving us family style becuase we all wanted to try everything. it definitely made a difference having a table... We ate here twice on our recent stay at the Caribana Guesthouse in Riomaggiore. We were lucky to have been seated at a table by the open balcony doors overlooking the small harbour. It's a great spot to just enjoy the warm sea breezes on a nice sunny afternoon. We never felt rushed by the wait staff and were left... More

Massimo is the cook and he has a passion for making bread. My husband particularly loved this dense crusty bread. I had the seafood pasta which was absolutely wonderfully delicious and he had the seafood pasta with tomato which he enjoyed. The view was pretty, but not outstanding compared with many of the other views we had while in the... More

If you are in Cinque Terra and looking for some good food, reasonable prices and a great view-- pick this restaurant. Get a reservation for outside by the edge. The spaghetti with clams was wonderful.

booked a table by the window, but at night there is only a reflection and darkness covers the sea. eat early if you want a view. Food was average. Servers were very helpful and kind.
