Loster pasta is awesome but service could be a bit better

I have tried Loster pasta in 3 different restaurants already, for this one I would say it is quite closed to the original flavors of the material itself, means not too mcuh spice and any any unnecessary taste. So I will only suggest to someone is pursuiting the original taste of food.

Wow what a great lunch experience my wife & I had today Al Pozzo. We had walked the track from Venezza back to Monterosso having taken the ferry out earlier in the day. It was around 3pm before we " dropped in" to this restaurant. We both had the spaghetti marinara served as all other reviewers have said. It was... More

My rating is not negative comment on the food but the whole experience. Firstly we were seated at a table overlooking the kitchen...it was amazing to see the kitchen and Pozzo prepare the dishes (especially the seafood). The food is a bit pricey but worth the value. My wife and I both had pasta with pesto. The pesto here was... More

My 11 and 16 year old joined here our first night in Cinque Terre. I loved the local pesto dish, especially cleaning my plate with a piece of bread. The kids had linguini with shrimp and everyone shared steamed mussels as an appetizer. Lively crowd. Fresh wonderful food. reasonably priced. What's not to love and it's Italy!

We were kindly accommodated by Anna, even though we had not booked and it was quite full. Manuel served us, giving advice and recommendations. We ordered the house wine, a dry but fruity flavour which gets top marks. Our antipasti we shared of cured meats, a combination of five different types. I watched various dishes coming from the kitchen and... More

During our ten day stay in Monterosso we ate here five nights! The food is simply fantastic. Make reservations if you want to sit outside. The service is great. Very helpful and friendly. We ate pasta (they serve GF pasta and bread) with pesto several times. Perfectly cooked and so delicious. The seafood salads are tasty and there is a... More

My daughter and I took a boat trip to Monterosso on 22 July. We arrived on a full boat load of passengers in the pretty village, and it was very busy. Several restaurants were full and we were told there would be possibly half an hour to wait before a table was free. We walked back towards the harbour and... More

This place is Great, the best Spaghetti Marinara I have ever eaten, cooked and served in a large ironstone bowl, served at your table the second half of your meal is as hot as the first serving. Excellent meal.
