We shared a meal of paella here, and both of us loved it. The food was great and the service was very friendly. We were waited on immediately - which was not the case in most of the places we ate in Italy - and everyone was so nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

In past visits, we did not have the easiest time finding places with gluten-free options in the Cinque Terre, but now that so many people have adopted the diet, I guess the options have expanded. The great news is that the options have expanded at this restaurant, where we had a seafood risotto of dreams. The sauce was made with... More

We came here every night for dinner for five days and a few days for lunch. The fish, particularly the fritto misto and linguine alla vongole, were the best we have ever experienced. The chef is a true artist; he is a master craftsman and every meal and dish was delicious. This restaurant has the most amazing pesto, homemade and... More

The quality of food is varied and excellent. Our waiter - I wish I knew his name - was extraordinary; not only making recommendations but even going to so far as to give us moist cotton towelettes after each course. Our very favorite restaurant in Monterosso.

We were in Cinque Terre on an all day tour when we stopped in Monterosso Al Mare. We decided to break up our shopping with some lunch. We found a wonderful shop, U Pussu (see my other review about the shop) and found out that we could walk through the back of the shop into the restaurant. We chose to... More

Freshly cooked food right from the nearby sea. You can peek in at Al himself in the kitchen cooking, a master at work. We had local fish and excellent local wine. We sat outdoors and were entertained by the action on the street. We would love to go back.

we ordered the seafood rissoto for 2 and it could have served 3 comfortably. The flavors were excellent, pricing was average and we ate outside. Very enjoyable

We went to this restaurant as it looked good from the outside and the menu promising. We had not been terribly impressed with service at another restaurant we went to the night before so hoped that it was just a one off. We ordered fried mixed seafood, pesto spaghetti and some salad. To start with, the bread brought to the... More

Freshest, best seafood. Ate here twice, which we never repeat on vacation. Chef was extrodinary. Appetizer table had some delicious selections. Menu diverse, good wine. Service excellent. Should rank higher on TA.
