Good spot, great service

My wife and I visited here on our last night in Monterosso. Quick and polite service. The pasta course was very tasty for us both. As a second course I had a sea bass with shellfish. The fish was tasty but slightly overcooked and the dish as a whole was a little salty. We finished with a semifreddo... read more

We dined twice at this restaurant - first time I had scampi (my favourite) the second time the swordfish with mushrooms. Both were absolutely great - the scampi sweet (grilled) and plenty - the boiled potatoes with butter and parsley were to die for - the wine was conveniently in half bottles both red and white very good - both... We went to this restaurant per the recommendation of Rick Steves in his travel book. We could not have been more disappointed. They did not sell wine by the glass - just (overpriced) bottles. In addition to having a $3 cover charge per person, we hated our food. The bread they brought to the table was dry. Then, we split... More

Lovely restaurant tucked away on side street in Monterroso, very welcoming and lovely food. Great atmosphere and very popular with visitors.

I visited by myself and to my surprise menu includes most dishes for 2 people. I asked the waitress for help and she suggested a dish with clams mussels, shrimp. in a marinara sauce came 2 shrimp, about 10 mussels, many broken, about 10 small clams and pieces of what seemed to be octopus. uneventful dish except for the fact... We had lunch in this restaurant when we visited Monterosso. We like it a lot. The staffs were friendly and the foods were tasty!! We had a mixed seafoods antipasti and the black pasta with shrimp in tomato sauce, they were delicious.

This was our first night dinner at Monterosso al Mare. We were very hungry so we arrived early. We were offered the sardine antipasti which was varied and very good. And the spaghetti al Vongole, my God, the presentation in a sizzling bowl and its taste, was like heaven!

We grabbed dinner at Pozzo as it was really close to our hotel in Monterosso Al Mare in Cinque Terra. Decent food. Decent service. Considering where it was, we had hoped for more. I had a Shrimp Scampi, which was grilled shrimps, still in the shells. My wife had a pesto pasta that was pretty good. We found other restaurants... More

The food and service at this little restaurant was fantastic. It is on the main street headed down to the water. They had a wide variety of pasta dishes and desserts, which were all perfect. I highly recommend stopping here while in Monterosso.

This restaurant did not disappoint our experience so far in tasting great Italian food. Because the tourist season had not started yet, it was 1 of 2 restaurants open in Monterosso so we were a bit skeptical since it wasn't on the list of restaurants we had researched for our trip. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the... More
