We ate at this restaurant several times whilst in Monterosso al Mare. The bread was made in-house and it was just fabulous, fluffy, soft inside with a great crust. Dipping into oil and vinegar just enhanced the flavour and it was the best eating bread that we had during our entire holiday after having eaten in Venice, Florence and Siena.... More

We chose this by default as the last chance saloon at the end of a long hot walk to the far end of the promenade to get to the public beach. Sat out on the balcony enjoying the shade. I wasn't expecting much, but my pasta al limone with sea bass was astonishingly good! We found that service was friendly,... More

Dined here for lunch on a hot day. Service patchy, but when when our meals did arrive, excellent quality & reasonably priced. Nice view. Toilets exceptionally clean.

We were missing eggs for breakfast and reluctantly stopped in here this morning. Should have followed our instincts and stuck with pastry and cappuccino down the street, which are amazing by the way. The entire experience was a disaster. The waitress kept bringing the wrong food, the place was swarming with flies, and it was without a doubt the worst... More

For a restaurant in such a prime and tourist-frequented location in the middle of a very busy and boiling-hot day, we found the food to be very good and the room wonderfully air-conditioned. We got the trofie (traditional ligurian pasta) al pesto, which was delightful. Trofie is a bit unusual and consists of small, somewhat cylindrical pieces of pasta, each... More

We ordered an appetizer of octopus and potato, which was mediocre. For lunch, we had a mixture of fried fish. Our entree was fresh and decent. Unfortunately, the service was so horrendous that it dismissed any quality found in the food. The waitress ignored us on several occasions, and we had to ask for our bread and our menus. We... More

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were on a tour and had a set menu of pasta, fish, salad, and unlimited wine. The food was really good and the service was friendly and accommodating. We would recommend this place when visiting Cinque Terre.

We happened upon this place by accident as it is located towards the far northern end of the beach. It was a beautiful warm spring day so we delighted in sitting outside and watching the local kids playing soccer on the beach. We were served an aperitif at the start of the meal and a limoncello at the end, as... More

For years we have walked by this restaurant and see very few people eating in it. We were advised that the food wasn't very good. However, this trip to Cinque Terre we were told that it was better and we should give it a try. Reluctantly, we agreed to have dinner here. From beginning to end this restaurant is not... More
