Lucky something was open in March!

Hardly any restaurants were open on a cool day - as we walked through Monterosso, we needed to go someplace, and luckily this great little pizza place was open - well, they do have other dishes, but not on this day. The pizza was good, a lot of locals hanging out and talking, with their friends... read more

This restaurant was the first choice on our hiking route from Levanto to Monterosso in April. We loved it very much. We had selfish dishes and they were excellent, especially the fish soup. The service was a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry, so it did not bother us at all. Staff was up to expectations. We... More

We felt like we were experiencing life in small-town Italy when we walked into the restaurant. The hostess invited us to sit out on the terrace, protected from the weather by a plastic screen, where a group of locals were finishing up their lunch. The hostess/server was very helpful as we pondered the menu and the owner made our pizza... More

Terrible service stuck out the back because locals playing pool and cards in the main area. The waitress had no idea and took forever to bring a water. Food very ordinary and pricey. Once again an unannounced cover charge for non existence service. Had a pizza which was very ordinary with next to no toppings.

We ate at this restaurant several times whilst in Monterosso al Mare. The bread was made in-house and it was just fabulous, fluffy, soft inside with a great crust. Dipping into oil and vinegar just enhanced the flavour and it was the best eating bread that we had during our entire holiday after having eaten in Venice, Florence and Siena.... More

We chose this by default as the last chance saloon at the end of a long hot walk to the far end of the promenade to get to the public beach. Sat out on the balcony enjoying the shade. I wasn't expecting much, but my pasta al limone with sea bass was astonishingly good! We found that service was friendly,... More

Dined here for lunch on a hot day. Service patchy, but when when our meals did arrive, excellent quality & reasonably priced. Nice view. Toilets exceptionally clean.

We were missing eggs for breakfast and reluctantly stopped in here this morning. Should have followed our instincts and stuck with pastry and cappuccino down the street, which are amazing by the way. The entire experience was a disaster. The waitress kept bringing the wrong food, the place was swarming with flies, and it was without a doubt the worst... More
