If you want to eat here, you'll have to just seat yourself when you see an open table. That's what we did on our 3rd try after not being seated two other times. The food was okay and there was great people watching. We had a seafood salad, veal with lemon and stuffed mussels. It's better for people watching than... More

First of all the outside tables have a wonderful view of the water. We made late reservations and dined inside. I know this is a tourist town but this was a very touristy place. It was loud inside with plates loudly clacking when tables were cleared etc. When the food arrived the plates were virtually thrown on our table as... More

Service - nice smile and removed plates Food - had better. Starter Capri salad, I love cheese so it was excellent. Wife asked for vegetable soup and got this pesto concoction. Ate two spoonfuls and pushed to side. Waiter didn't even as if she liked it. Sea bass was good. Pesto pasta was good. Mushroom and penne was good. Veal... More

Visiting during off-season limited our dining options but our hotel recommended that we come here as we arrived hungry and it wasn't 7:00 pm when most restaurants open. Then table next to us ordered a fish dish that looked absolutely amazing. Delivered in a pot and poured into a large bowl, many guests from other tables came over to gaze... More

We had a fabulous night here at this restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful evening here. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. Great seafood and as always the mussels were great. We had prosecco to start the meal and went on to some wonderful red chianti with our meal. Eating along the mediterranean coast made... More

We had a lovely meal.I had black and white pasta with flaming creme brûlée. If we were staying longer we would have returned to have the large bowls of seafood soup that we saw being served at neighboring tales. It was cooked in a large clay pot and then served in a big bowl. All different kinds of seafood including... More

Our family of 8 had a wonderful lunch here. The restaurant was bustling, the wait staff were friendly, and most seemed to speak English, and we loved sitting outside and watching people as they strolled along the seaside. We ate out twice a day for 2 weeks and my black-and-white pasta with mussels from the Belvedere was one of the... More

An evening walking through Monterosso eventually brought us to the Belvedere. The outdoor seating next to the beach gives a great view, across Monterosso beach and small harbor. That was it we had to stop here and eat. Fortunately there was on e table available next to the sea otherwise we may have not stopped. The food was excellent prawns... More

This place is charming and the windows afford a wonderful view of the sea. The seafood was very fresh, the pasta was tasty and the tabke wine was nice and rich. The service is gracious and yes, the waitstaff speak many languages. You are visiting Cinque Terre for hiking and fantastic vistas, not for Gourmet Food. Those who look to... More

We tried the prawns with pasta. The chef was good enough to split the shells, etc so we could access the meat. Pasta sauce was yummy. For dessert we had tiramisu. Real whipped cream with some of the usual ingredients. Dinner was topped off with an espresso. Good choice. Some tourists come here night after night. Local families gather here.
