Family run business with fresh pasta and local sauces, amazing desserts, and a long list of local drinks. Monterosso is a small town, and the fact that Jay Z was playing in the background just made it feel like a real no-bs kinda joint. Loved it. Only downside is its quiet season and that means a lack of patronage but... More

Via venti is one of the few very good restaurants that one must not miss in Monterosso al mare. I enjoyed seafood ravioli which were very well made. Everything is home made and compared to restaurants of the area, it s Worth the visit. The staff is welcoming and funny and I highky recommend it!

We visited Via Venti on a recommendation of a friend who had been there years before and were not disappointed. The restaurant is small, yet very inviting and perfect for a small group or dinner for two. Like many other restaurants in Italy they are focused on the meal and experience and not about getting you in and out quickly... More

We had a very good meal at Via Venti during a short stay in Monterosso. We went on the recommendation of some folk we'd met in a train station elsewhere in Italy, and were happy with the referral. On a quieter street, small but elegant. Service was attentive, and the waiter and bartender were quite helpful when I asked them... More

We have just returned from a bad experience at the restaurante Via Venti. We ordered a meal and a bottle of wine. The food was good but when it came time to pay we received a hand written receipt with 3 items from the waiter. The 2nd item on the receipt was a sum of the two secondi platti we... More

I'll begin by saying I didn't eat so my review is not about the food, it's about the most horrible experience I've ever had in a restaurant in my life. My friend and I just returned after an 18 day tour of Italy and 12 days in to our amazing trip we looked specifically for Via Venti as my research... More

We really ejoyed this place. Great seafood and pasta. Service was good and the location is nice as it is on a small side street less traveled by the hoards of tourists.

Had lunch here and had the seafood ravioli and monterosso style sword fish. Both dishes were well cooked and tasty without being too over-the-top fancy or anything like that Prices were reasonable, 16 euro for the swordfish and 13 euro for the pasta Also had a friendly waiter/owner? who knew about the food and what to recommend It's a fairly... The food at this restaurant was good but nothing special. In comparison to other restaurants in the area it was more expensive for smaller portions and the quality of the food was no higher to justify the price. The dining room is the same as everywhere else.

One of my favourite spots in all the travelling we did of Italy. I adored the pear raviolli - it was so nice to get something a little different. Really friendly service. My boyfriend asked for something not on the menu and they had no problem creating it for him. Couldn't have done more for us. I'd go back to... More
