Staying here? Do not miss eating in this restaurant

We ate here in October 2013. The owners of the Hotel Pasquale recommended this as one of the restaurants to eat at whilst staying in Monterosso. We are so glad we did. It is a very small restaurant and you would probably need to book in the busy season. The food is absolutely delicious and made... read more

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel on our first night in Italy on our honeymoon. We were tired and hungry and wanted a quick meal that wouldn't break the bank. We are so glad they recommended Via Venti. Located down the most adorably quaint street, we ate outside which helped perk us up, soak up the night and really... More

We tried this place on a recommendation from our hotel. This was one of our favorite dining experiences in all of Italy. The owner was fabulous. We had one of the best cheese plate appetizers I've ever had. We both got the pear ravioli and it was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Easy menu with a genuinely attentive owner. Go for the simple flavors, outdoor seatting, and decent wines all w fair prices. (Not feel anybplaces in this town were great but this place was nice and genuine and we would return for whatbit is)

with all the hype on line and a heartfelt recommendation from our hotel we were disappointed in dinner last evening. Did not mind that only waitstaff was clearly new and being trained (one couple sat with menus but no interaction for about 10 minutes and left). One dish of 4 was wonderful, the other three, including two pasta dishes while flavorful... More

I believe our two best meals in our two week Italian vacation were eaten at Via Venti. The host was very nice and his wife was an amazing chef.

Went here for a light late night meal one night and have to say their pear and cheese ravioli is fantastic! Probably my favorite pasta dish in over 2 weeks across Italy. Definitely give it a try!

Cinque Terre This little Italian find has indoor seating and also accommodates outdoor seating with large umbrellas. We were seated outside and the weather was a little unpredictable.....the umbrellas kept us dry. The family restaurant is well run and the owner is always attentive. We started with drinks which came very quickly then starters some us had the soup of... More

The food and service here is absolutely fantastic. We chose this restaurant after all the positive reviews, and it did not disappoint. The pear and cheese stuffed pasta is out of this world... a must try!

This restaurant was recommended to us by Fausto, the owner of Il Giardino Incantato where we were staying. Since the reservation was made at the last minute we "forced" to sit inside near the back of the restaurant by the bar. It is nice to be forced into an area that was quiet, delightful with great service. The owner was... More
