OMG!

We found this little place from a Rick Steve's guidebook recommendation and it was amazing! The food - one dish after the other - was perfection! Try the fresh anchovies that were just caught that day. If you come from America as we do, you will never have had any anchovy like it. They simply don't... read more

My wife and I love trying new restaurants when we travel, so when I say that we went back to Via Venti and had an even better meal the second time around, it indicates how good the restaurant is and how interesting the menu is. The restaurant may not look like much and it doesn't boast a lot of outdoor... More

Don't think you won't need a reservation for this hidden in a side alley ristorante. We were lucky enough to slide in as one of the early diners without one. My wife had the cheese and pear pasta and I had the gnocchi with crab both based on TA recommendations. My only complaint was that the crab dish was the... More

Walking in we weren't sure if this was the place for us, but ultimately we loved it! Another customer shared that they were there for their second night in a row, we know why. The pear and cheese in pasta was amazing, as was the mixed seafood grill. I wish we had another night there so I could have tried... More

Wonderful, small family run restaurant with excellent food. Best we had in Cinque Terre. The cheese and pear pasta pockets are outstanding. The seafod/pasta dishes are also excellent.

Small comfortable place away from the town square. Risotto w/ seafood was pretty darn good. Friendly family owned place.

The waiter did a great job at explaining what was in a few of the dishes, helping us to avoid a mistake. My wife and I liked each other's dishes so much we traded half way through. Both were vegetarian dishes, one was a pasta with pear and cheese filling, other was a pasta with pesto. Also a great wine... More

My wife and I stumbled upon this quaint establishment hidden amongst one of the tiny streets of Monterosso on our last night in town, and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. The owner, Michael, who runs this family business with his wife and father, is a 5th generation restaurant owner and following a meal here one would think... More

We ate at Via Venti for our second dinner of our 16 day trip, and little did we know we were in for the best meal of our adventure. My wife had the pear and cheese pasta and I had the seafood ravioli. Both were absolutely delicious. Eat a late dinner at one of the tables set up outside in... More

We ate here in October 2013. The owners of the Hotel Pasquale recommended this as one of the restaurants to eat at whilst staying in Monterosso. We are so glad we did. It is a very small restaurant and you would probably need to book in the busy season. The food is absolutely delicious and made from fresh local produce.... More
