In my opinion Ristorante Via Venti is on a quite alley and is above the crowd. Most of the other restaurants here are basically the same but here it is different. We noticed that the kitchen is run like a business and not a family business. In our 4 nights we had dinner here twice. Each dish has a special... More

Really enjoyed our dinner here. The cheese plate was good and had several unique cheeses. We split a fish ravioli and then the sea bass with mushrooms. The ravioli was tasty but a very modest portion for two (5 raviolis), but I guess when it's topped with truffles you couldn't expect a large portion. The sea bass was good, but... More

My husband and I came here because it was recommended in Rick Steve's. We shared the crab gnocchi and the swordfish. The portions were quite small, not enough for two people to share. Which would not have bothered me except that I asked the waiter if it would be enough for two people and he replied that it was. I... More

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday and weren't disappointed! Beautiful sashimi plate to share as an entree - absolutely delicious. Red wine recommendation was perfect, my hubby loved his swordfish, my tuna wasn't excellent but I am extremely picky. Definitely worth a visit.

The menu has great variety. We had the house red, the cheese plate (good variety of Italian cheeses), the pear cheese dumplings and seafood ravioli. My husband and I split the dishes which worked great for us and was a good range of flavors. Our waiter was fantastic - didn't rush us at all but checked on us to make... More

The anchovies, king prawns, and swordfish were well cooked, seasoned, and fresh, but the portions were small and a bit pricey for that reason

This restaurant had been recommended by our B&B host and it lived up to all of her reviews. The service was excellent:friendly, attentive and helpful. We had the mussels to start and seafood ravioli and sea bass for main-all dishes were faultless.

We had the pear tortellini when we visited three years ago and I made sure we came back on this trip. We weren't disappointed with the pear pasta or the other dishes ordered. We made a reservation so we could sit outside. Our server was helpful and attentive. We'd come back again!

Down a relatively quiet street in Monterosso al Mare you will find Ristorante via Venti. The food is wonderful. I had the traditional pasta with pesto--delicious. My friend enjoyed the fish filled ravioli. Nice house wine. Best meal we had in Cinque Terre.

Tucked up one of the narrow streets off the main drag in old town. Seated at an outdoor table under the shade of an umbrella, it was the perfect way to spend a hot summer afternoon. Via Venti's seafood appetizer was one of the best dishes I've ever had. Different types of local fish, cooked in twelve different ways--each one... More
