Small family-run restaurant. Very friendly service and a good selection of fresh seafood dishes made as you order. Very nice presentation, taste. Overall, a great value

Via Venti is a gem of a restaurant in the old town. The fresh anchovies and the gnocchi with pesto were of particular note.

The pear and cheese ravioli was probably the best meal I had in Italy. I would have gone back again just for that the next night, but we wanted to try a different place. But I also had a tuna dish, which was just okay, so I can;t give it a great overall rating. My boyfriend had ravioli with cod... More

We really enjoyed this small restaurant in Monterosso! The seafood was very fresh, and the service was fabulous too! We ate our first dinner at this locally owned restaurant, and we would highly recommend it. I read about it in Rick Steve's book on the Cinque Terre area.

This place provided exactly the experience we were looking for in Cinque Terre. Incredible, fresh seafood and local wine. This sidewalk cafe was on a small, but bustling street and we sat outside in the shade. The prices were very decent and the service was good - the waiter spoke some English, which was helpful. Highly recommend: seafood ravioli, the... More

Had a very good meal here on our last night in Monterosso. My girlfriend LOVED the pear and cheese stuffed pasta and the chocolate soufflé was great! Good service as well! I felt the portion sizes could have been a bit bigger, but apart from that thought it was a great meal!

Our first night in Monterosso took us to a lovely seafood dinner at Via Venti. Loved the way they did the anchovies and the seafood grill. They wine matching was pretty good also and reasonably priced. Loved it!

After being rudely rejected from overcrowded tourist traps restaurants in Monterosso al Mare, in pure unpolite and arrogant Ligurian style, we decided to skip the main streets and found this gastronomic pearl. Leave behind the non smiling, frustrated, arrogant general attitude of the locals and head to what Liguria should be: Via Venti Ristorante. The owner was really nice (surprising... More

One of my top 3 restaurant experiences in our 3 weeks vacation in Italy. We had the fresh anchovies (which chique terre is famous for) or our antipasti which was excellent along with a caprese salad. Then the gnocchi al granchio (dumplings with crab) and fagottini pear e fromaggio in salsa chef (stuffed pasta with pear and cheese in chef... More

Fabulous, memorable meal with lemon tagliaterre, the best meal I had in Italy. Also loved the caprese salad, fresh and delicious. Husband loved his anchovies and mussels. Much better than some higher rated, more touristy restaurants.
