It was late, we were tired after spending a (wonderful) day traipsing to all corners of the Cinque Terre. We had watched the sun set over the Mediterranean, had a lovely seafood meal and were walking slowly up the steep, main drag of Manarola and thinking only about sleep. As we walked past the Cantina, we heard some lovely music... More

Who knew there were so many things that could be done with anchovies? Had a quick bite here. Great atmosphere and food. Music better than elsewhere in Manarola.

It seems to be a lively bar with music at night - but in the afternoon it's calm, relaxed, dark, small, sometimes quite empty. Which is perfect when you drop in after walking and visiting, and simply want to sip a glass of wine to recharge and want to get away from the high-season crowds in flipflops.

taverna to spend a relaxing night with friends or partner..the antipasti are simple italian classics that go really well with the red wines available...lovely entertainment with live jazz/blues! Live music is not on every night, ask the owner in the afternoon...

Spent one of my favorite nights in Manarola there. Live music, relaxing atmosphere, nice house wine...and good company.

This cosy place makes the best mojitos and its served with salty snacks. Take away prices on wine - that you can bring to the cliffs and watch the sunset :-)

My travel agent booked a private wine tasting for me at this little enoteca/bar/jazz club. Late afternoons in Manarola can be hot and humid so my 4PM wine tasting in this cave-like enoteca was a pleasure. The below ground space has been completely renovated but still has that old Italy character that I love. My wine tasting included a glass... More

Anchovies are the thing to eat - try them fried, salted, with olive oil and lemon. You'll have a new appreciation for this food.

After a long day, we were looking for a place to sit and enjoy a drink in Manarola, which was proving harder than imagined. Most places would only serve lunch or were full of tourists. This place had lots of locals and great prices. They had a good wine selection, clean bathroom and very friendly servers - especially if you... More
