Go ... if only for the music!

My Mum and I visited Manarola as part of a trip for her 60th birthday during March 2014 and fell in love with this place. I couldn't remember what it was called and have only just come across it - I had to leave a review, despite it being so late! We were the first tourists of their season and... read more

As others have said, you walk into this bar for one drink and end up staying for a couple. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the music is fabulous. Friendly staff

I sat outside with my girlfriend on the tiny low terrace. A glass of wine in a perfect sun trap. Zero to brown in one hour. That's fast. We enjoyed it.

Good range of beer (mostly bottled), spirits and wine (bottle and tap). Serves good coffee and food in a convivial atmosphere. Good service. Adequate enough seating both inside and out.

We popped in for a late night drink. Live musicians were in residence & it was pretty lively. Prices were OK & the staff were extremely friendly.

We stopped in on a whim and asked if they would do a wine tasting. What followed was our favorite memory from Cinque Terre. The original owner's grandson conducted the tasting of a white, a red, and a dessert wine paired with small plates. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about wine and the history of the restaurant. We... More

Just spotted this cafe while visiting Manarola by train from Monterosso. Great spot for an early morning coffee or a beer or wine after a hike or walk around the area. Friendly service, decent prices and both indoor and outdoor seating.

It was late, we were tired after spending a (wonderful) day traipsing to all corners of the Cinque Terre. We had watched the sun set over the Mediterranean, had a lovely seafood meal and were walking slowly up the steep, main drag of Manarola and thinking only about sleep. As we walked past the Cantina, we heard some lovely music... More

Who knew there were so many things that could be done with anchovies? Had a quick bite here. Great atmosphere and food. Music better than elsewhere in Manarola.

It seems to be a lively bar with music at night - but in the afternoon it's calm, relaxed, dark, small, sometimes quite empty. Which is perfect when you drop in after walking and visiting, and simply want to sip a glass of wine to recharge and want to get away from the high-season crowds in flipflops.
