Best tuna tartare

The tuna tartare starter was to die for. It was so fresh and simple but packed full of flavour. It's up there on my "most delicious things I've ever tasted" list. Only reason I'm not giving them 5 out of 5 is because they got my main order wrong (I got grilled fish instead of baked) and the... read more

Heading really says it all. Food was good, not great or anything special, the view is really what sets this restaurant apart from the others. The service was however absolutely horrendous, we had to try ridiculously hard to get anyones attention which completely ruined our experience here. Overpriced for what it is and definitely wont be back.

Of course if you don't like fish you want to like the food either. The wine is also very nice and the view and location are good. The first time I came here, The service was bad but not so bad as to deter me from returning or to give me a negative experience. I returned the next year on... More

A restaurant with the perfect location and several michelin signs at the entrance put the expectations high. It was quite expensive but still affordable. The food was nice but a bit tasteless. We got hair in one of the dishes but when we told them we immediately got a new one.

Located at the amazingly pretty village of Manarola, right at the cliffs. This restaurant is 'money-factory', so maybe that's the reason for not so amazing food. BUT they really have potential. Waitress was great, helpful and fast. We tried 5-6 different meals. There is big difference between meals quality. For example, sea-food risotto is nothing, prepared completely without passion, but... More

I ate on the terrace of Marina Piccola 2 days ago and i can say that the view is still in my head. The food was good and the portions were also quite big. It was a good experience.

The location is unbeatable – if you're lucky, you'll get a front row seat to a spectacular sunset. The food on the other hand, is bland and tasteless, and the waiters unattentive. So if you're given the option of a table without a good view, you're better off trying your luck further up the hill at the excellent Trattoria Billy.

The waiter was rude and abrupt. We waited a long time to be served for drinks let alone ordering our meals. We ordered the "handmade linguine" for 2 with lobster. The linguine was more like a Asian egg noodle and the lobster was extremely overcooked. The salad was less than impressive, lettuce and slices of tomato with no dressing. The... More

Great location, OK food, it's a bit too expensive, and the service is, unfortunately, very poor. The waiters seemed completely disinterested. As some have already pointed out here, they're not relying on returning (foreign) customers, but you'd think they'd still want to make a little bit of an effort.

Great view with great location. Service is poor, very poor. But I don't think they depend on returning customers as this us a very touristy spot. Food was ok, nothing amazing.
