The fried calamari and prawns were very good, as was the trophie with pesto. The walnut-sauced ravioli was good but a bit bland. Nice wine selection. They do take credit cards, including AMEX. The restroom is clean and just past the bar. The view of the water is nice too.

We came here because the view was lovely but really wish we hadn't. The service staff were rude and unpleasant and the food was over seasoned. We ordered a meal from the picture menu, they offer a picture and descriptive menu which we thought was quite cool But when the food brought out was something completely different and sent back... We think that most Restaurants in Manarola offer similar menus for food. We had the spaghetti with lobster and the lobster was good, even so very small. The Pasta was home made, but cold. The lady that served us done a good job, but overall the only stars are for the location, which is one of the best.

I've never witnessed such a lack of consideration from a wait staff. I saw 4 Asian people get up and leave after literally begging (please we are hungry) for a good 15 minutes and the place was not full. They seem to not like Asians because they ignored another group as they stood face to face with them. Our Octopus... More

We have eaten here on several occasions over the last four years and it is hit or miss. During our last visit, one of our meals was terribly prepared. When we asked to have it re-done, the head waiter was extremely rude and condescending. Because of his actions we will never go back.

With a tremendous view--best in town, perhaps, I was doubtful the food would match the scenery but a pleasant surprise! The tradional trofie with pesto was great. Not too garlicky and very creamy. Also plenty. My husband wanted to have an anchovies dish which is also typical of the region and he enjoyed it. Also, a large portion. We were... More

Tried to have drinks and appetizers at this restaurant at 430 in the afternoon. When we asked for a table the server asked us "what for?" We replied that we were looking for drinks and appetizers. She said "we only do meals". The restaurant was only 1/4 full, all of people who were also having drinks. When we checked the... More

First of all - this restaurant has the best location in Manarola, just 100 meters from the ocean, and a nice atmosphere. But that's probably the only good thing about this restaurant. We were a group of 4 entering the restaurant, and the staff didn't seem to care much about us. We had to wait for a long time to... More

My girlfriend and I ordered the fish platter for two people, expecting that would be enough for 2 people. We were a little bit disappointed with the amount and quality of fish (1), prawns and crabs served. Needless to say that we were both hungry after our meal. Also got charged for bread we didn't order or want.
