We loved our meal here- we had pasta, fresh sea bass, grilled vegetables, and then tiramisu and espresso for dessert. Everything was top notch. The hotel was steps away from our hotel (La Torretta) and view was amazing.

Slightly off the beaten path....and up hill from the main town....you will experience a more authentic meal then the more touristy restaurants down below. Make your reservation a few days in advance if you would like to dine on a terrace with a lovely view....or at all!! A busy place, Billy's. We ate in a small 4 table room below... More

This restaurant was suggested to us by the B&B where we were staying in Vernazza (La Mala). We took the ferry over to Manarola and caught the train back late night. We are still dreaming of the dinner we had - 12 plate appetizer to start, lobster pasta, "green" pasta, fresh caught fish. For "dessert" we were brought 4 large... More

Billy's is worth the walk up the hill from the village. We shared the pasta "special of the day"; which was with crab. This would have sufficed for both of us however we had also ordered the beef to follow, which was enormous! Both were sensational, with the pepper steak cooked to perfection, tender and very tasty. The ambience was... More

We were staying in Vernazza but found ourselves in Manarola one afternoon for lunch. Billy's is up on a hill a few minutes walk from the train station and we were greeted and placed in a great seat even though we had no reservation. The views from the restaurant were fantastic and the service was spot on but the food... More

We stayed nearby and went back the second night. Beautiful fresh seafood, superbly cooked. Very pleasant waitress who had a great sense of humour. Busy, fun and popular but you need to book!

Skip all the tourist restaurants by the water and hike up to Trattoria Dal Billy, the food and views are well worth the extra effort. A reservation is highly recommended. We did not one so missed out of the great views of this restaurant. Fresh fish from the Mediterranean is a specialty and some of the best I have ever... More

Sometimes you encounter food which make you just want to throw away all your personal belongings and move to Italy. This was one of those meals. Originally we didn't want to order wine with the food as we only came in for a quick nibble. But little did we know what we had in store. We ordered the tasting platter... More
