We stopped at Trattoria Dal Billy for a meal before hitting the coastal trails (only to subsequently find out that the trails were closed due to rock falls!) in Manarola, during our recent visit to Italy and the Cinque Terre. Of all the restaurants that we had looked at that morning, this one had the most appealing menu. And, it... More

In all of Italy that I have been t, this has by far been the best meal that I have ever had. Really fresh seafood, the pasta was perfect, service was very nice and welcoming, and the scenery and location of the restaurant was beautiful

Should have made reservations to dine with the sea view but the restaurant inside was amazing too. Now, most importantly, the food was probably the best seafood I ever had. Definitely fresh, and with that special mediterranean sea smell and taste. My bill was $90 euros including 16 different seafood appetizers, 2 pastas, wine bottle, water, and mussels, a dinner... Our family visited Billy and were thoroughly impressed by the seafood appetizer assortment, lobster pasta, lemon octopus, and fresh catch of the day whole fish baked and presented on one of the biggest platters I've seen! So good we just had to go back for lunch for our final meal before leaving the beautiful Cinque Terre.

We were recommended to eat at Dal Billy by our accommodation an told to make a reservation one day in advance (thank god we did). We hadn't read up about it at all but thought we would give it a go for our final night in the Cinque Terra. WOW, how we were pleasantly surprised. It started with amazing service... More

Simply superb in every way. The view is unbeatable. The view is epic. The service is first-rate. Alberto is the nicest and most quietly charming waiter you'll ever meet. Don't miss the 12-course appetizer or the sciacchetra' dessert. Worth the price.

We had a great meal here while we were in the Cinque Terre. The Al Mare appetizer is a must if you like a variety of seafood, and the lobster pasta was decadent. Our view wasn't great, but we arrived at 7pm without a reservation during busy season so that's totally our fault. I highly recommend making a reservation way... More

We read the reviews about this restaurant on tripadvisor before we went to Italy on our honeymoon and knew we had to visit. However, finding this restaurant was an adventure in itself. We used google maps to help us and it was useless. We started wondering up the windy side streets and ended up in the apts of a few... More
