Very Pleasant Atmosphere

We bioked our table at 7pm so we could appreciate the sunset. It was beautiful. Our dinners were all very delicious. Our waiter was great, his name is Dario. Apparently he is the owner's son. Very accommodating. After our dinner they brought grappa & lemoncello. We had a nice dinner.

My daughter planned our stay around eating here, we were sorry to say it was our least favorite of the five we ate at. The fresh fish appetizer was disappointing...and expensive. Wine selection was very good. Main courses, average. We did enjoy the complimentary after dinner liquors. Can not recommend

My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant on our first night in Manarola. We had emailed our hotel prior to our arrival to ask them to make a reservation so that we would not miss out or face a long wait. Our hotel kindly did so, and we arrived at the appointed reservation time. One server initially... More

Beautiful fresh food and a gorgeous location. We sat inside and the surroundings were lovely with w cave like feel. A must for fish lovers ! Very helpful waiter who advised and recommended us on what food and wine to order and we were happy with our choices. We are both not massive fish eaters but thought that when in... More

The hike uphill is well worthwhile given the great food & ambience(if you score a terrace table) overlooking the village. The homemade pastas and fresh daily catches were the go. Whole fishes could be served grilled or baked & then filleted & deboned at your table. Both pasta dishes we tried were excellent, so were the octopus & mussel starters.... More

We took the advice of fellow TA writers and went with the 12 dish appetizer. 10 of them were great, the other two were okay. I would recommend you try it anyway. It was a lovely selection of freshly prepared local fish from tuna to anchovies two ways. We then went on to the pasta special with lobster which was... More

My husband and I went to Trattoria Dal Billy on our first night in Manarola! We were one of only two couples in the restaurant, probably because it was during the week, and we had a FANTASTIC meal! The wait staff was absolutely attentive and the food was spectacular:) Also, the location was WONDERFUL as our apartment was right next... More

We reserved a table on the terrace & watched the sunset on a lovely April evening. Food was good for both me & the Mrs. Prices were reasonable & service good without the fawning. The restaurant is located in the upper back streets of Manarola & the terrace is to be found down some tricky steps. Worth the visit, I... More

We visited Dal Billy with a party of 12, including 4 middle school/ teenagers. They promptly pushed some tables together for us and we felt right at home. The staff were all very friendly and spoke excellent English. We went with the menu of specials suggested by the waitress and never opened the menu. We were served an amazing selection... More

We booked this restaurant because we'd heard really good things about it. After watching the sunset, we made our way up the many (many) steps towards the trattoria. We were slightly early, and asked if we could be seated before our reservation time. The owner huffed and sighed dramatically before eventually giving us an outside table, very tucked away from...
