Unpretentious

No airs or graces, boisterous and kid-friendly, kind of garish decor and uncomfortable seating, but great fresh seafood, perfectly prepared and imaginatively presented. Would go again for sure .

Really liked this restaurant, very friendly and attentive staff and excellent, good value food. Strong points were fresh fish, generous portions and nicely cooked. Very reasonable bill and offered free digestifs and complimentary biscuits at the end of the meal. Conveniently located and very good atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

We had dinner here last week. We did not book in advance but probably should have. We got there at opening and it was empty but filled up quick. In future - I would make a reservation especially during season. The staff was very friendly. Our meals were very good. I had the grilled vegetables and then the ravioli. The... More

We came to this restaurant with a set reservation by our hotel. Empty place except for 3 tables but got full soon, all appeared to be locals except for us. We were diplomatically rushed to order everything. We agreed that my entree was coming with mix vegetables, came with spinach, not big deal, kept it. My husband's selection was not... More

I was here with a large group attending a conference so we were treated to a variety of different samples, but every single one of them was stunning, extremely well taken care of and incredibly good. One of my best dinners ever

Such was the kerfuffle about finding us a table so early in the evening that we wondered if there might be something of the Emperor’s new clothes about this restaurant. After a warm, friendly welcome, we chose to start with ravioli: something light, we thought, for the first dish. It was not light. Even ravioli from a packet isn't this... More

What a lovely restaurant! Excellent food, friendly efficient service, modern and quirky decor ( even a handbag stand at every table!). The wine list was mainly local and of good value. I think the only criticism is of the external look which probably loses it a few customers, it really is a find and worth a visit. The menu is... More

Interesting menu of standard and unusual dishes. Decent wine list. Good service. What more could one want?

A quite antique and not at all exiting sign outside does not prelude at all of the very clean, modern design you will find inside. Very inventive cooking, excellent quality fare and good friendly service made this meal a feast for us.

Our party of three were fortunate to be seated without a reservation, although we were placed in the back of the restaurant closest to the restrooms. We ordered an assortment of seafood including the seafood soup and octopus salad. Service was uneven, they were very busy and seemed to forget about us. The overly salted soup arrived after two others... More
