What a lovely restaurant! Excellent food, friendly efficient service, modern and quirky decor ( even a handbag stand at every table!). The wine list was mainly local and of good value. I think the only criticism is of the external look which probably loses it a few customers, it really is a find and worth a visit. The menu is... More

Interesting menu of standard and unusual dishes. Decent wine list. Good service. What more could one want?

A quite antique and not at all exiting sign outside does not prelude at all of the very clean, modern design you will find inside. Very inventive cooking, excellent quality fare and good friendly service made this meal a feast for us.

Our party of three were fortunate to be seated without a reservation, although we were placed in the back of the restaurant closest to the restrooms. We ordered an assortment of seafood including the seafood soup and octopus salad. Service was uneven, they were very busy and seemed to forget about us. The overly salted soup arrived after two others... More

A trattoria with a sense of fun - the chairs all have different backs and varied pretty glassware on the tables! Good if not exceptional food and attentive staff. It gets very busy so go early or book. A good recommendation from the Starhotel Savoia Palace.

We chose to eat in this place by chance as we were passing by. Pros: fish was excellence, first class Cons: service wasn't very good and it felt rushed even though the place was half empty at the time. Not offered wine list and the so had local wine as suggested by waitor which was rough stuff Would we go... More

The dinner was one of the highlights of my first visit to wonderful Trieste. I was with my sister and we basically left ourselves in the very good hands of the staff. The food was so good. Regarding the wine- again we let the staff guide us and their selections were great. We ate outside which was very nice. It... More

I've been here a couple of times, guest of my cousin and with some friends. What is amazing is how professional the owner is. Just to give you an example: we wanted crude sea fruits as starter. The owner looked at us and replied: "look at the weather. Yesterday fishermen didn't went out, so what I have is from the... More

The place is lovely and so is the staff. Excellent service, tasty food, great wine. I had an excellent seafood pasta with mushrooms, with a very good local red wine. The waiters are incredibly nice, and the decorations in themselves make the place worth visiting.

From start to finish the restaurant  was a wonderful experience.  The excellent meal began with an amuse bouche of mullet exploding with flavor.  A primo piato of delightful risotto di mare followed by an excellent grilled squid completed the superlative meal.  The wines are  mostly  local,  priced at €20-25.  The staff was welcoming and friendly from start to finish.
