The place was quite hard to find with the Google maps entry but well worth the search. Tripadvisor has got the location almost accurate. Actually it shows the location of the associated bar where you can have an "aperitvo" but hold back on the assorted snacks, you will need the hunger later. The restaurant fills up after 9pm, I recommend... More

It was really hard to find, but as everything, the hardest things in life are the most rewarding! This place was fantastic, great food, nice staff, wonderful sophisticated menu full of delicious options. Great wine. Beautifully decorated, attention to detail, lots of things very right with this restaurant. I recommend the fried fish plate, the bacon wrapped prawns and the... More

This is a well positioned restaurant near the center of activity in the old town of Trieste, There is limited seating inside and out. We found this on trip advisor and was only 5 minutes from our hotel. Since we did not have a reservation we had to sit inside. Despite being very busy the service was prompt and we... More

The title should translate to superb, we had lunch here on a cloudy day in Trieste, so sat inside. While the lavendar colours threw me a bit, I always associate it with bedrooms and toilets, don't let that put you off, this is probably - I am guessing - one of the best restaurants in Trieste. There is a super... More

Lovely place in the historic center of Trieste. We had the menu (7courses with wine) for EUR 65,00. Finally we had more courses, we think including amuse 9. All courses been fish?!? Some people reward it here with a michelin star. In our opinion thats wrong. The food is really good, made with passion and Fantasy, but sometimes the outstanding... More

Service and house wine were fine, scallops and calamari starters were OK but sea bass main courses were poor. Not a repeat!

Slow service, uninspired cooking, high prices, not much nice to say about this restaurant and yes, if you have nothing nice to say than shut up, I know but maybe that won't help fellow travelers.

This place came recommended by the hotel we were staying at, and it was a good call. We decided on the 7-course tasting menu, which was a bit on the optimistic side. If we knew the size of the portions, the 5-course option would have been more appropriate. Skip lunch if you plan on the longer one for dinner!

This is a very cute, well decorated restaurant, very close to "piazza dell'Unità" we decided to try the degustation menu, consistent in ten different small plates, all delicious! This place it's really worth the try! This menu includes five different types of wine, all of them of the region.
