It was recommended by the concierge at our hotel as a top restaurant, so we got him to book it for our party of five, with a table in the garden area. We knew that it was primarily a meat-centered place, and, being Scots, we are used to enjoying good steak. On arriving, we were surprised by the size of... More

It's mostly a restaurant for meat lovers, but also the pasta is wonderful and (be careful) VERY big portions! We were there for dinner and we took a portion of pasta for each of us. For second, we ordered pork costata. Everything was excellent, but it was too much for us, so if you are not or very hungry or... More

Alot has been done to restore this restaurant and keep it in the old style - they have succeeded! We liked it so much the first night that we went for seconds on the next evening!!! The second time we chose to have a 900gm T-bone steak, rare.....and yes, that is too much for one person but they sliced it... More

Dine with the locals in Rimini. I wanted a non-tourist atmosphere and I was pointed in the perfect direction. You will need reservations ahead of time. We were a party of five and the only Americans amongst the 60 or so tables. Fabulous atmosphere. There was not an empty seat in the house once 9:00 came around. The service was... More

Top level service by a georgeous waiter with style and distinction. The highest quality food and choice of menu. Typical local Emilia Romagna menu ... And the size of the portions, WOW ! ... We had to leave with 'take away' :-) All in al, a fantastic experience !

Tiresia is a classical osteria and thus serves great food - especially meat. They have their own butcher and butcher desk and you can choose your own steak before it is made to your liking. It is a very big restaurant inside, but they have a lovely garden "sulle le stelle" as they advertise out side. (You can smoke at... More

We have been it Italy for a month and visited a lot of restraunts, caffes and trattorias. But the Osteria Tiresia was the best expierence of traditional italian cuisine. We tasted pasta, raviolli and some baked or griled vegetables. It was very tasty. The price was not big for such good meal. It was about 35 euoros for a vegetarian... More

It is rather difficult to find outstanding eating places in Rimini - undoubtedly due to the fact that the town caters for mass tourism on a gigantic scale. Most eateries in Rimini are therefore, and out of necessity, geared for the passing trade, with little or no usual Italian touches of excellence. This is however, not the case with Osteria... More

My boyfriend, a true carnivore, swears by this place and always looks forward to going back. I am not so much a meat lover, but it is easy to find something I like on the menu, either vegetarian or lighter meat dishes that don't make you feel like you are eating a brontosaurus. Then again, for the "Flintsone" in every... More
