What a spectacularly delightful find. We stumbled across this wonderful little restaurant by pure chance, and were SO pleased that we did. We received a friendly welcome and the proprietors were very helpful indeed in helping us choose dishes. Perfect English is spoken which made the experience very easy for us, because my Italian is sketchy at best. Food was... More

I went to the Teatini restaurant on Saturday having been highly recommended by two friends. This place is a little gem located right in the heart of the city of Rimini. If you are after something researched and contemporary, a cuisine that mixes only fresh and seasonal products, served with the original and creative touch of the Chef Fabio, then... More

Thank you Sylvia for your opinion, seasonal products are what we search every day to serve to our guests, and is one of the fundamentals of our idea of contemporary cuisine. In addition, the tranquillity and simplicity of the ambient helps to relax and appreciate more the special moment that is a meal, in every moment of the day. Thanks! More

This is a charming restaurant off the main square. Much of rimini appears geared to Russians on inexpensive package vacations. This was an oasis and offered a quiet, thoughtful meal with a husband wife team who really care about their food. Everyone in our group loved it. Try the squills for an unusual local dish. E

We had an excellent table on the patio in a charming square in the middle of Rimini. I had scallops in a lovely sauce. My friends had the anchovies and a wonderful tomato caprese. Then, I had excellent calamari ... The best ever. My husband had beef steak... He said it was the best in Italy! Our wine was excellently... More

Thank you Rojomillar, we are glad to read your satisfaction about our restaurant! The patio in summer is a little dream in the old centre of the city, away from noise and traffic. For the food, we only treat and serve fresh material, for this reason we change every day our proposal. And this means respect for guests and for... More

Returned to Teatini to try and understand why the reviews are mixed although a large number still give the restaurant 5 stars, and rightly so. It is an exceptional restaurant and the cooking and presentation is often sublime. It is very different to the rest of Rimini where the restaurants are normally measured by the quantity of food and not... More

Thank you Roberta for your review and your opinion, that we agree totally. The problem is really people's eating habits, some guests serch only full dishes without understand what means flavour and which are the ingredients in that dish. In this case we recommend to eat in a more traditional restaurant, where the quality though not always is guaranteed (but... More

I concur with the views of other diners, a restaurant well worth a visit. Rimini is not the easiest of markets to conquer, but I'm sure this couples passion, knowledge and professionalism will prevail. The location is great, the ambiance laid back, I have no difficulty in recommending Ristorante Teatini. The Cicale di mare crudo was particularly good by the... More

Ready for lunch we used TA to find us this place and a good find it was. Having scoured the local tourist places we were releaved to find a classic small restaurant with two young people passionate about their food. We had home cooked bread and then pasta for lunch. Pasta cooked perfectly, good flavours and the right portions. Wine... More

We were not blown away by this place as some other places in Italy, but still it is one of the better nicer ones. Portions were acceptable size (not too large, not too small). Food was all well done and quite tasteful. Atmosphere was also quite nice, children friendly.

Although small it is a very special restaurant with exceptional food cooked with real passion and skill and a front of house service which was attentive and very professional. This is what exceptional Italian cooking is all about. I can not wait to return and experience this all again.

Thank you matteob, your compliment is one of the most beautiful ne have ever received: "This is what exceptional Italian cooking is all about". We think that people like us have got even the role of popularizer about culture and knowledge in the framework of food and welcome. We are not only restaurateurs, but symbols of italian style.
