magnificent seafood, groovy atmosphere

We booked a table early on evening of the same day before the restaurant opened based on the description on a promotional map of the fish restaurant and the fish menu displayed outside. We were received coldly, shown to a corner table next to the door a long way from all other patrons and were presented with a non negotiable... More

The food might be good here, but the staff are arrogant and rude, and the service is terrible. We are English but speak some Italian, but the native Italians at the next table got the same treatment. If you are not local and have not booked, prepare for a bad time. We walked out.

L'acciuga is dressed up like the machine room of a large boat. They have the biggest variety of anchovies I have ever seen, all of them superlative. Fish is among the best I had; th estaff is extremely friendly. Very, but very, recommended

Small menu and quirky restaurant dressed like the inside of a boat. Staff were really good. The food was the best we ate whilst in Italy for a weeks trip. If you like fish - visit L'Acciuga. Really brilliant

If you like fish and are in Ravenna this is the place to go. A small menu determined by what's been caught on the day. The five course taster menu is worth considering - excellent flavours, some unusual presentations and decent sized portions. The service was good, considering how busy it was. Try the local white - Drei Doña il... More

A friendly welcome, a unique 'ship inspired' interior and a menu that features five fish dishes that you can have as a tasting menu or chose one or more dishes a la carte, plus some speciality anchovy dishes, and you have L'Acciuga Osteria. The food was delightful, the service very good especially as the place was packed to capacity, and... More

We tried to eat here on a Saturday evening - no chance! Fully booked! That's a recommendation in itself (seconding the one from our B&B hostess) so we booked for the next day which happened to be Italy's Mother's Day! After we booked, and before we wandered off to find a pizza, we were offered, and enjoyed, a glass of... More

This place exists for a long time, but finally they've managed to make something out of this! The food is really excellent. A small menu, so you know the food is fresh. And it is very refined and great quality. Don't expect to over eat here, the portions are not huge, but it is all perfectly prepared. The wine is... More
