Do you want a pretty restaurant with a nice presentation ....terrible service and completely tasteless food? I made a reservation for 7:30 when they open. I was the first person there. I'm a well dressed married woman traveling solo and spending a lot of money doing it. I enjoy good meals. When I sat down... the ONE waitress (for over... More

If you like sea food, always fresh and tasty and artistically served, don't miss L'Acciuga! It is a ten minute walk from the pedestrian area of the city center and caters mostly to locals, who crowd it almost every evening of the week. It is wise to make reservations.

We called to reserve a table a couple of hours before we went. That was a good idea as the place was packed. Dressed up like the inside of a submarine the room was nice. Other reviewers have said the service was arrogant but it was not the case for us. They treated us very well. It was a happy... More

Perfect fish menu from pre-starters to the very end, great fish tartare with strawberry. A perfect wine selection at the glass. A friendly and personal service. Nicely decorated like a ship - you may like it or not.

L'Acciuga was our first dining stop on a two-week trip through northern Italy -- and nowhere was the seafood more delectable. The ultra-fresh red snapper was exquisite, and the gamberi appetizers -- shrimp wrapped in filo pasta with squash blossoms -- were divine. Contrary to some other reviews on this site, we found service to be friendly and accommodating. After... More

We booked a table early on evening of the same day before the restaurant opened based on the description on a promotional map of the fish restaurant and the fish menu displayed outside. We were received coldly, shown to a corner table next to the door a long way from all other patrons and were presented with a non negotiable... More

The food might be good here, but the staff are arrogant and rude, and the service is terrible. We are English but speak some Italian, but the native Italians at the next table got the same treatment. If you are not local and have not booked, prepare for a bad time. We walked out.

L'acciuga is dressed up like the machine room of a large boat. They have the biggest variety of anchovies I have ever seen, all of them superlative. Fish is among the best I had; th estaff is extremely friendly. Very, but very, recommended

Small menu and quirky restaurant dressed like the inside of a boat. Staff were really good. The food was the best we ate whilst in Italy for a weeks trip. If you like fish - visit L'Acciuga. Really brilliant
