Corect food

We stopped here for an impersonal service and basic food. We had piadine, seafood risotto, average wine. The interior is impressive, but it can be a little dark. Bill was on the high side.

This is my first trip to Italy, and my first meal, so I may be unaccustomed to the amazing food that's all around, but Ca' de Ven, was excellent. I had tagliatelle au ragu and roasted duck breast, with a sangiovese. Food and wine were wonderful. The owner (I presume) came by and chatted and she was charming and friendly.... More

When we began to ask the girl on the reception desk at our hotel, where you can eat local food and drink local wine, she advised on this restaurant. It is in the center of old town and it was rather full despite the late time. The menu is large enough, we had very good local wine while preparing our... More

Visited on a busy Saturday evening. The place is fun, the space is unique and we enjoyed sitting with locals with whom we practiced our only mediocre Italian skills. The wine (by the glass only) was a very satisfactory Sangiovese. The food, however, was mediocre...a potato torte, mushroom and potato soup and fried calamari and mushrooms (bland and greasy). Definitely... More

Interesting place. We were drawn in because it looked like a cozy wine bar. Once in, we were completely ignored by the hostess/manager. A waiter came from the back room and took care of us. It was then that we learned how huge the place is. Thus, reading other reviews about people going there with their groups, it all makes... More

A nice location, an interesting blend of old middle-age building, nineteenth century tavern and some modern art. Cuisine offers traditional Romagna food, a good choice of vines and, of course, an excellent piadina, which you should not miss. The place is big but frequently full (and may be a little bit noisy), but service is good and fast; better booking... More

This is a very atmospheric place to eat, lovely big rooms and very interesting food. I enjoyed an absolutely delicious semolina pie with mushrooms and cheese plus what I think were eggplant chips. Staff could have been a bit friendlier but it didn't detract from the food. We went for lunch but I'm sure it would be great for dinner... More

We were lucky enough to ask our guide in Ravenna for a "local" lunch experience, and didn't want a three course meal. She took us to this great spot right in the old town, with highly atmospheric surroundings. We lunched on piadines (a kind of flat bread)with spinach and cheese, and some great local wine. Finished with more piadines with... More
