Good wine list but the service/waiter was very rude and dismissive. Arrived the the restaurant and sat for 15min while the waiter helped the local tables/patrons that had arrived much later. Feel like they aren't very foreign tourist friendly when it comes to service.

Not sure we have much to add to the other reviews, but we had the 4 course tasting menu with a different wine with each course at 38 euro a head, which was great value. Wine portions were generous and really interesting matches with the food. Food was good rather than exceptional and the place was quite touristy and short... More

Don't believe the guide books when they tell you that this is a wine bar and only serves a little food. It is a restaurant with a large menu which is both interesting and delicious. We intended to go inside to see the beautiful old building, especially the ceilings which look like the painted undersides of umbrellas, but when we... More

Ravenna is almost like a museum city, everything is a walking distance and this restaurant centrally located in beautiful Via Corrado is close to all the extraordinary points of interest. The restaurant itself has excellent local cuisine, good and friendly service and reasonable prices, so it became our favourite dining place during our time there.

Place is located in older part of Ravenna and it is designed for local vine lovers and gourmet food eaters. From selection of vine, food and good service it is hard to say what is a best about this establishment. If you are in the city of Ravenna you must stop here and try local favorite on the menu.Atmosphere and place... More

This was the place that our hotel receptionist said we must eat at and it was pretty good. Food was well presented and tasty, wine was good and reasonably priced and the surroundings and decor are unique. It was very busy and we're glad we booked but the staff were attentive and efficient. Worthy of its recommendation.

The Ca' de Ven is a wine bar with a pretty good kitchen serving regional specialties. The star of the show is the space, a one time spice market, wine cellar and potential nuclear waste disposal site. All kidding aside one feels very cozy inside the massive vaulted brick ceiling. We were there in a raging lightning storm and didn't... More

This is a gem, really worth a visit if you enjoy good wine in a beautiful setting. You can sit and enjoy a glass at the bar bar with free nibbles of local salami and cheese. Or, sit in the restaurant were the food is delicious and service is tip top. It's very popular with the locals and tourists alike.

Ca' de Ven is well-located in the historic pedestrian-zone. We went for dinner, and, at 8:00, the place was busy. We were quickly seated at a tiny table pressed against the wall (there were lots of these for parties of 2) but had to wait about 15 minutes for anyone to come by to give us water, a menu, etc.... Great. Lovely feel and beautiful decor...surrounded by wine. They even let our dog in. Good wine and pasta. Even the locals eat here. There is a large back room with a glass roof for sitting in the sun. Fast service. Incredibly nice. There's a little bar area too for a drink whilst awaiting a table. I loved it.
