Delicious pasta, soggy salmon

Well located, attractive room, friendly excellent service. The pasta was delicious but the meal was otherwise disappoinig. Bread & crackers were tasteless and dry. Salmon was overcoked and bland. Mixed grilled veggies also meh. Wouldn't go back.

La Gardela was exactly what we were hoping for: great wine, excellent food and fast service even though trattoria was packed on a busy saturday night. Super quality at a very good price. Ritorneremo senz' altro!

When we went to La Gardela in December, it was packed with noisy happy locals enjoying excellent trattoria cuisine. Although busy, the wait staff were friendly and attentive. Our starters (caprese salad and artichokes) and pasta were perfectly cooked and delicious. The prices were average for the old town. The house wine was very good.

Walking distance from the main square.   Our guide ordered a “salad” plate with crudite and a soft cheese.  It was excellent.   On the obligatory pasta, the sauce was skimpy.   Lots of locals were eating here.

I liked the food and the staff especialy the very sympatic old man... the service was quite quick. The menu was typical from Romagna, were only missing some vegetarian dishes.

We were recommended this place to try by a local hotel and were given 10% discount with hotels business card signed... Not a bad start... The place was packed, mostly locals on there lunch break... The service was excellent, we had ''Monica serving us'',she was very helpful and appeared to be doing most of the restaurant by herself whilst the... More

very good food, local produce , good service even when busy, good value- ate here 3 out of 4 nights we were in Ravenna , lets just say the local competition was embarassingly short of the mark.

Busy restaurant with local food. Excellent service, wonderfully crowded and a real Italian dining experience. Not fancy, comfortable and I would recommend. We lived in Italy 37 years so we know what is good and what is not!!!!

I have been to this restaurant many times over the past 20 years, and it has remained my safe, "back-up" venue for good food, good service, and amiable atmosphere. Although always a single diner, I have always felt welcomed, even on a "walk-in" basis--when the waiters sense they're serving someone who isn't fussy, and who likes to eat (and drink!),... More

Went here because Rick Steve's recommended. Arrived to find the dining room almost empty, so were surprised to be seated directly in front of the kitchen. Clearly, it saved the waiter from having to walk any distance to our table. Not that we saw much of the waiter. Anyhow, we ordered salad and it was out and on the table... More
