Local cuisine.

Busy restaurant serving the local specialities. Try a plate of assorted cold cuts and Parmesan cheese served with a cold, dry red Lambrusco, followed by a selection of their filled ravioli. Very nice lunch, thank you!

The 'fried cake' ("torta fritta", the local name for the regional fried bread) with cold cuts and chiese was simply fantastic. The risotto was nothing special. The place is very beautiful so it is worth a second visit for sure!

We visited Gallo D'Oro with my colleagues for dinner. Atmosphere was very nice, well decorated restaurant, typical Italian i could say. Dishes were tasteful and quite satisfactory. Prices a bit expensive but we were very satisfied in general. I definitely recommend it.

We had a delicious lunch here on the recommendation of Laura after a food tour in Parma. Restaurant is located around the corner from the tourist office in the center of town. Everything we ordered was delicious. Well worth the trip. Decent house wine and tasty dishes.

The food is good when you want to have an authentic Italian meal with the best ingredients, payable and tasteful wines. The ham is cut with authentic Berkel machines, the food is prepared as it should be, service is perfect.

This was better than I expected, given the TripAdvisor reviews. All of our food was delicious (try the rabbit). We also had a bottle of red wine from Parma, which was superb. It was excellent value for money too.

Good restaurant situated near the piazza Garibaldi, ingredients are fresh and well-cooked. Pasta dishes have good taste. Service is fast and efficient. It is quite nice to be able to eat “outside” given that they have veranda with heating system.

Food quality: good and traditional Parmesan cuisine. Interests for tourists: nice location in very downtown and one of the rare restaurants that opens Monday evening in Parma (most of the restaurants are closed on Monday evening in Parma). English speaking Service: sometime poor (I feel that they think they don't lack someone as you as there are too many others... More
