Lovely food and great atmosphere

Found this restaurant by accident and went in because it was pouring with rain and freezing cold outside! Turned out to be an excellent choice - the food was sophisticated and very tasty and the ambiance was lovely. Not cheap but worth every penny. A great find.

We managed to squeeze in without a booking, for an early dinner, which was appreciated. I started with parmesan souffle, which was very nice indeed. My partner had Bream tortellini, which she also liked very much. For the next course, we decided to order pumpkin ravioli (against our better judgement), becuase the dish is so famous and popular in the... More

I went there several times, always great food and very nice personnel. Local food delicious, seafood excellent and wines are reasonably pricy. Highly recommended!!

We had a very nice lunch here yesterday. We started by sharing local ham and Parmesan cheese. The cheese came with honey and balsamic. We had a nice local red wine that went well with the pasta that we had as our main course. Service was good. The restaurant was nice inside. We were very happy with our lunch.

For us it's been one of those rare restaurants (..in the world!) that manage to prepare absolutely perfect food from starters all the way to desserts, every dish being more than perfect! The food was so delicious that we actually ended up ordering three desserts for the two of us. Service was ok! The waiter seemed a little lost at... More

We stayed in Parma in the NH hotel near the station. But in the weekend there are not so may guest in the hotel, so they can not open the restaurant but they did recommend this one. So we went there without reservation. Inside was full so we decide to sit outside. It was already a bit cold (november 2)... More

To be fair, I've eaten here a year ago in the summer, and the cold fish plate was good. This time the place seems to have taken a turn for the worse. The service was extremely poor, the waiters forgot to bring utensils when they served, and left the bottle of wine sitting unopened on the table for a while.... More

All of the food we had was delicious and beautifully served. The asparagus flan and the veal rolled with ham and cheese were exquisite!

Dinner after an opera was easy to book although at 10:30 the restaurant was full and getting a menu required a wait of nearly ten minutes. We ordered the pumpkin tortelli so typical of Parma, grilled scallops, and the veal stuffed with prosciutto and cheese in a marsala sauce. The scallops, simple but absolutely fresh, and served on a very... More

I ate here last weekend with my husband. Due to the extremely high temperatures in October we decided to sit outside. The food was very good indeed and the service was efficient. The outdoor space is great, considering we have a small dog. The starters and first courses are very well presented and the portions are not bad. Also my... More
