Good food

We enjoyed our meal but the waiting staff were not as attentive as we are used to. The cheese sauce that came with the soufflé was fabulous. I would recommend the sorbetto - extremely refreshing at the end of a meal.

After walking around parma on a hot day in July we visited this place which thankfully had an ac we could cool down in. The decor inside was also very pleasing and contributes well to the overall experience. Unfortunately we weren't very hungry (primarily due to the heat) however we did have some lovely prosciutto e melone and a platter... More

This restaurant is a level above the rest. The staff is courteous and attentive. The have an excellent wine list at vey decent prices. Try the Sauvignon frizzante from parma a steel for 14 euro a bottle, very refreshing. Or try the Lambrusco for 6,50 euro half a bottle cold, fizzy with intense berry and strawberry flavour. The food is... More

One of the best restaurants I have visited in Italy. The food was outstanding, with an elegant and refreshing twist on traditional Italian cuisine that brings out the absolute best of exceptional food and wine of the region. The staff were attentive and 5 star. The restaurant inside and out was charming and chic. Would highly recommend this restaurant, but... More

We liked the interior styling, the attentive staff and the food. The only downside was that we had to wait a long time to get the check.

During a long weekend trip to Parma, we dined at La Forchetta twice and recommended it to other travelers who subsequently enjoyed the dining experience. The food was exceptional, my husband had the "Duchess of Parma with marsala sauce (rolled of chicken breast with Parma ham and Parmesan cheese) and "spaghetti pomodoro fresco e basilico con ricotta salata" (spaghetti with... The food was wondelfull. Each of the dishes we have tried (4 persons) was outstanding. It was a real slow food session. Langsam It only took good 20 minutes to get a check in the end. It felt like they just did not want us to pay

Our hotel was able to squeeze us into this restaurant on our first night in Parma as we had been dying to go because of the many outstanding Trip Advisor reviews. We were blown away by the quality of food and service. For appetizers, my girlfriend and I got the Parma Ham and Paremesan cheese plates along with gnocco fritto... More

Recommended by our B&B host, this was probably the best meal of our trip. We had an amazing seafood appetizer (steamed in some sort of wrap with flavorful broth). Reservations are a must. Mostly surrounded by Italians (locals and tourists). Great service. Highly recommended.
