We had dinner at this restaurant. Fortunately, we had reserved a table, because the restaurant filled up quickly. The food is excellent - fresh produce and very tasteful. The service was good.

Food is just unbelievable! From fish to meat dishes you can't get it wrong! Had fish pasta once and cappelletti the other time!

This was our second time at La Forchetta. Both times we had the raw fish appetizer- several oysters, gamberoni, shrimp, and 2 slices of fish. Tried the ravioli with squash. They were okay but not as good at La Filoma. The panna cotta with 3 sauces was excellent.

The La Forchetta is definitely one of the best restaurants in Parma. The local starters, 24 year old Parma Ham and Culatello di Zibello, have been absolutely gorgeous. The noodles, Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce or the Tortelli stuffed with pumpkin, have been outstanding. All together with a nice bottle of Prosecco. Great food combined with a nice service.

We went here based on the tripadvisor recommendation and were well pleased. My wife had a delicious asparagus flan, and I the most delicious parma ham starter...culatello. Lobster main and Sea bass both excellent. Semifreddo and mint parfait for dessert. Including wine and water the bill came to e98, which we thought reasonable given the quality was excellent. The restaurant... More

Started with some exquisite ham as you would imagine. Accompanied by a great half bottle of Lambrusco - a delicious wine drunk in the Parma area. (It doesn't seem to travel so well!) Followed with the veal and the tagliata. Both excellent. Finished with a refreshing semi freddo. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend

It was nice to find something a little more sophisticated on the menu here. We ordered veal, lamb and ravioli... The pumpkin ravioli was sublime, the veal roll was cheezy tasty stuff and the lamb cutlets were well cooked but not seasoned at all. Overall the wine was a bit rough but the service was fantastic.

For our second course, I again played it safe and order the Filetto di manzo alla griglia (Grilled fillet of beaf) which was served alla tagliata. Michelle kept her meal strictly seafood and ordered the Branzino in crosta di olive con confit di pomodorini (Olive-crusted sea bass with tomatoes confit). My fillet was great, cooked sangue a temperature which is... More

Looking for lunch, passed this restaurant and remembered I had seen the name on Tripadvisor. Seated outside we ordered our food and were very pleased with our starters and then our pasta and risotto dishes. The restaurant was obviously very popular and very busy. While eating the pasta and risotto, the heavens opened and we were engulfed in a thunderstorm.... More
