Good food of the area (most menus are exactly the same) of the area. Parma ham and caprese with buffalo mozzarella -large portions. Delicious pumpkin ravioli and branzino.

The staff are delightful, knowledgable and efficient. The food is magical and staff suggested a wine cheaper than the one we were going to choose and it was fabulous. All in all a perfect Italian experience and pretty reasonable in comparison to many others with mass produced food.

I found this place by accident while looking for the dry cleaners the hotel sent me to. Even though the cleaners was closed I thought it was a very worthwhile trip because of that. It is a little hard to find and at first you think you've mistakenly wandered down an alley--but, hey, this is a medieval city and a... More

We ate here twice, and enjoyed both times. The starters are particularly noteworthy: try the cheese souffle or asparagus flan, each 9 euros. For a main course, the duchessa di Parma is highly recommended--rolled veal with Parma ham and Parmesan cheese with marsala sauce (15 euros). Gurbell fish baked with olives on a fennel cream was very tasty (16.50). By... More

Loved the food. Fresh and quality produce. Mind you, antipasti, primo and secondo was way too much for me as they have good servings so didn't manage to get a taste of their deserts. Also had a delicious local beer and our waiter was very friendly.

We had dinner at this restaurant. Fortunately, we had reserved a table, because the restaurant filled up quickly. The food is excellent - fresh produce and very tasteful. The service was good.

Food is just unbelievable! From fish to meat dishes you can't get it wrong! Had fish pasta once and cappelletti the other time!

This was our second time at La Forchetta. Both times we had the raw fish appetizer- several oysters, gamberoni, shrimp, and 2 slices of fish. Tried the ravioli with squash. They were okay but not as good at La Filoma. The panna cotta with 3 sauces was excellent.

The La Forchetta is definitely one of the best restaurants in Parma. The local starters, 24 year old Parma Ham and Culatello di Zibello, have been absolutely gorgeous. The noodles, Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce or the Tortelli stuffed with pumpkin, have been outstanding. All together with a nice bottle of Prosecco. Great food combined with a nice service.
