Excellent meal and great experience!

Excellent starter with culatello and torta fritta! Very good quality also for risotto"giuseppe verdi" and well terminated with zuppa inglese, also tipical dessert of this region..only two flaws, the wine list not adequate and all the staff never smiling..

In the heart of Parma near Piazza Garibaldi you can find this tipical restaurant where the food is what you aspect from Parma. Forget about nouvelle cousine and dont miss the tipical raw ham, culatello and Felino's salami served with Torta Fritta, delicious!!! Resonable price for the quality of the food, dont forget to make a reservation specialy during week... More

We were in a hurry to catch our flight to London and, following the advice of a friend of our, went in this very nice trattoria. The quality of cured meat (culatello and prosciutto) with 'gnocchi fritti' was excellent and we also had cappelletti, tortelli and tagliolini (all typical fresh pasta from this area). Everything was very good, with a... More

We had one night in Parma and wanted to enjoy good local food. This place didn't disappoint. We had an amazing charcuterie appetizer, followed by several pasta dishes all perfectly prepared and an amazing eggplant parmesan done Parma style. Overall the food was excellent, the service friendly and the environment local Italian. Highly recommended!

cute quirky setting with pictures of Opera singers and hand written notes. For a Tuesday the restaurant was packed with both locals and the odd tourists like me. Started lunch eating torta fritta with mixed selection of ham and this was exceptional. The next course was cappelletti in broth and a trio of ravioli. Being a fan of Melazzane Parmagiana... More

My second last night in Italy after a month-long trip, I went out of my way to eat here on a very rainy night. Arrived about 7:30pm, early for Italy, and only 1-2 other tables were occupied. . After being seated, I waited for a *long* time to be brought a menu or even be acknowledged by a waiter. Later,... More

We ate here several times during our stay in Parma. The food and wine were excellent and the restaurant seemed very popular with the locals. We were very grateful to be let in early one cold, wet night, to drink wine in the warm whilst they finished their preparations for opening. Thoroughly recommended if you want excellent, local food at... More

We ate here twice during our 3 night stay in Parma, I honestly wish we had eaten here every night. It truly was incredible. We started with torta fritta (fried dough, so light its delicious) with parmigiano and parma ham, this could be a meal in itself, just beautiful. For the pasta course, everything was excellent but the lemon tagliolini... More

Our group of 4 had our lunch here in the trattoria during our day trip to Parma. Menu was straightforward and prices were affordable. Best dish we had was the lasagne!
