- We had pre-booked a table in advance at 9pm - When we arrived there was a queue outside the restaurant waiting to be seated... so booking is highly recommended - Nice ambiance inside full of local people - Starters: misto di tortelli & cappelletti in brodo... both were great, if i had to choose again i would go for... Had a very nice meal, perfectly paced (at least by American standards). Ravioli w/ butternut squash....perfect. As was the pasta w/ham. The fried bread was fine. Try it once and then? But a Parma thing. The tiramisu was a miss - soggy and bland, and the lemoncello was warm. But do go for the pasta. Oh, the mixed sliced meats... More

Very nice restaurant with locals as guests. We had a fantastic parmasano as a starter which tasted lovely. I had my most odd food ever as a secondi, guinea pig!

After venturing around Parma, we came upon this restaurant. First there were many locals - we saw wait staff hugging visitors, local workers eating alone on the way home from work - so impressive. We had the fried dough which is similar to a pop over in America, local prosciutto and Parmesan which Parma is famous. Additionally, I had the... More

We were well fed here for a Sunday lunch. The food was good traditional trattoria standard (cappelletti in brodo and melanzane al parmiagano, recommended). The trattoria was busy but the waiter was attentive. The owner did not win our affection. Having told us that we should only need to wait a minute, we were kept in line for 15 minutes,... More

Do make a booking as it is very, very busy... We had a great night here. The food is great and the buzz is excellent. Very reasonable for travelers and everyone would have to be happy with their food

For our first night in Parma on our honeymoon we wanted to find an authentic Italian trattoria. Although it was tricky to find without our GPS it was well worth it when we finally stumbled upon it. We could tell we had gone to the right place, there was a wait but we were lucky enough to get in. We... More

With just one evening in an unknown city, and so guided (for once) entirely by Tripadvisor, we went for the full four courses at this local restaurant - the food was excellent; and they have the endearingly old-fashioned habit, apparently, of offering the wine at cost price as a service to diners: at 7 euros, the local wine was simply... A few steps from via Farini this establishment offers quality homemade dishes at reasonable prices. Both diners had a primo of tortelli to start; one with radichio and ricotta the other with chard and ricotta; both very good fresh pasta and enough pieces not to overface one before a second dish. For the second course both diners had the excellent... More

We had read good things of this restaurant, and since it was within an easy walk from our B and B, decided to give it a try. Are we ever glad that we did, so glad, in fact, that we made a return visit next night (our last ) in Parma! The food was extraordinary, and the service every bit... More
