If the TARDIS had amazing food...

As others have mentioned - this place is like a TARDIS - it just keeps going! Based on the reviews we had read, we decided to visit for lunch on a weekend (our Italian is not good enough to make reservations!). We were shown right to a table (how the front of house can remember where there is an... read more

wow, what a treat ! the classical plates of this top-level region in a simple, straight-forward, non fancy, but perfect restaurant. from classical antipasti such as Gardiniera to fresh pasta with the best ham in the world - culatello, till some new inventions such as a fillet stake with a Nocino liqueur sauce, I think this place gives me all... Crowded and big and not very good. Long wait for table and then put in airless basement that was perfect for anxiety attack. The meats(proscutto, etc) were no better than any Italian deli in NY. I had an awful stuffed veal and my wife had the eggplant parm(I make way better). Waiters were nice but not that efficient. All in... More

I was recently taken here for dinner, the place is a real "Tardis" it just keeps going with room leading to room leading to stairs.... What I did note was how busy it was on a Tuesday night. I soon found out why, food and service was great.

A good friend of mine who lives in Parma recommended this place - she only lives around the corner and visits all the time. My friend was away when we visited Parma so we went to the restaurant on our own, and it turned out to be one of the best meals we had on that holiday. Had a platter... More

Excellent starter with culatello and torta fritta! Very good quality also for risotto"giuseppe verdi" and well terminated with zuppa inglese, also tipical dessert of this region..only two flaws, the wine list not adequate and all the staff never smiling..

In the heart of Parma near Piazza Garibaldi you can find this tipical restaurant where the food is what you aspect from Parma. Resonable price for the quality of the food, dont forget to make a reservation specialy during week... More

We were in a hurry to catch our flight to London and, following the advice of a friend of our, went in this very nice trattoria. The quality of cured meat (culatello and prosciutto) with 'gnocchi fritti' was excellent and we also had cappelletti, tortelli and tagliolini (all typical fresh pasta from this area). Everything was very good, with a... More

We had one night in Parma and wanted to enjoy good local food. This place didn't disappoint. We had an amazing charcuterie appetizer, followed by several pasta dishes all perfectly prepared and an amazing eggplant parmesan done Parma style. Overall the food was excellent, the service friendly and the environment local Italian. Highly recommended!
