There is very little we can add that hasn't already been stated by others. Yes, it is a little pricey but the quality of ingredients used, the accomplished preparation of dishes and the attentive service make for a most successful dining experience. The only thing that might be a negative is that La Greppia is no longer a "secret" to... More

You don't expect such culinary delights when you enter this little cozy and elegant restaurant. Parma ham like I have never eaten before, Parma cheese with the date when it was made, salads so fresh as if they came directly from your garden, Burata like nowhere else, homemade pasta prepared on site. Even the Breadsticks are outstanding.A wine list with... More

We got on for lunch, the interior is classic and calm. We ordered half bottle of wine, parmesan, pasta, and fillet steak. Basically foods were tasty, well cooked. The service was also nice. We enjoyed, but total fee was a bit expensive regarding of local place. It could be interesting to visit again for dinner, so I can recommend if... More

Parma is renown for world class food, so to find a high caliber place to eat shouldn't be difficult, but if you want the best of the best, visit La Greppia. The culinary delights are spectacular and the service is impeccable. The food just keeps on coming and the wine glasses are bottomless as the owner is completely and utterly... More

This small restaurant situated on the road into the historic centre as you enter from the railway station provides excellent food in a friendly and convivial atmosphere. The staff are helpful, explaining dishes and making recommendations, and assisting with the enormous wine list! We had a glass of sparkling wine while we perused the menu, and followed with a good... For our second course, Michelle was craving beef after an overdose of pasta and opted for the Girello di vitello al balsamico tradizionale and I chose a seemingly adventurous Riso Nero con Baccala al Curry. I am pleased to say that we were both very happy with our dishes.Michelle’s veal, dressed in a balsamic vinegar sauce was very good; the... More

It was okay. The service was very good, but the choices and portion sizes didn't warrant the expensive bill. We ate far better for far less. If you can't walk the 10 or so minutes to other restaurants and money is no object then I guess it's worth a try. It did have the biggest wine list I've ever seen.

Mother's Day in Parma and what a great experience to enjoy lunch at La Greggia. Just a small elegant dining room, staff was attentive, easy to find, we knew it would be expensive. I wanted a nice steak after so many pasta, fish, vegetables meals and oh! this was the very best! One could cut the steak with a fork,... More

We had high hopes after reading reviews of La Greppia here on TripAdvisor and elsewhere. With only one night in Parma and some Australian friends to take to dinner, we hoped for an elegant and not-so-touristy dining experience. The dining room and tables are elegant as is the service. We thought the menu jaded and typical with not much flair.... More
