We had a leisurely lunch at this restaurant (not the bar) on our last day in Parma. Although not fine dining the food we had was well prepared and prsented, and of very good quality. The slight downside is the proximity to people walking the street very close to your table. We had a ravioli and parma ham starters which... More

This place seems to have two parts, the restaurant and close by a bar that serves a limited menu of sandwiches, bruschetta and a couple of other simple items. It may be that the food for both is prepared in the one place but we only visited the bar. We had sandwiches and bruscetta and some wine, water, beer. The... More

Sorelle Picchi is an average restaurant with a very good past. On the night I was served a dry and very average culatello, and some average tortellini alle erbe, hidden under a deep layer of grated parmesan: the parmesan was overpowering; difficult to say if the tortellini were better than average. The staff is not particularly friendly or attentive, and... More

We chose this restaurant based on the two positive reviews, and were very disappointed with our meal and experience at Trattoria Sorelle Picchi. The food was unexceptional. This being a region in Italy that is renowned for its food, this restaurant is subpar to its peers. The service was very poor. The wait staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly. The... More

We ate here twice last week, both times as part of a group attending a conference. On each occasion we were offered an outside table (Our preference) and found the staff very helpful in explaining the menu and accommodating our request for shared antipasto plates (cold cuts , cheese and the delightful torta fritta). Food was delicious and the outdoor... More

Outside dining with Antonio's super nice service, eating typical Parma food, mixed in with creatively innovative Pheasant, stuffed with ham, stuffing, and a sauce to die for, topped with truffles. Lovely bottle of Lambrusco. All celebrating our last year's anniversary, a gift from our cousins. Joined by our sister and brother in law, we all agreed the food was terrific.... More

We asked for a restaurant recommendation at our hotel, the gentleman replied, "Really, you cannot find bad food in Parma." If Sorelle Picchi is an example, then I will wholeheartedly agree. Our waiter was easily able to accommodate our English-only food questions. We started with their ham assortment and a fried dough. I thought that would be heavy, but it... More

Were invited to this restaurant by Parma friends. You could sit outdoors or Indoors. Lots of delicious cold cuts like salami and culatello. Speciality pasta, filled with ricotta and herbs also very good. Stew of pigs' cheek followed and it was very tasty and tender. An elegant and fresh fruit platter rounded off the meal.

I had an excellent dinner on a trip to Parma... I ordered a pasta with truffle mushrooms, which was great... My friend ordered a pumpkin ravioli, which was also very good... Because we were in Parma, we started with the Parmesan cheese and Parma ham platter, which was also very good and we were able to try the different types... More

Sorelle Picchi isn't fine dining, but a nice cafe to eat lunch outdoors. We ordered a nice bottle of reasonably priced Tuscan rose and my husband ordered fettucini with mushrooms and I ordered risotto Guiseppe Verdi with funghi, culatello and asparagus. Maybe because it was an outside cafe that we just happened to come across, we didn't have great expectations... More
