Very close to the main square, friendly service, and excellent food. Be sure to look at the room decorated in a music theme -- very unique.  We had a “tasting menu” of typical foods from Parma, the most memorable was three kinds of ravioli, the tastes of which complimented each other.   There was veal sliced very thin with a ... A party of 3 (even 4 considering our Lab got in with us). The staff was really nice and helpful, advising us on the delicious Parma cuisine. Wine selection and food was good. Good price/quality - A party of 3 with starter, main and desert, water, wine and coffee for 100 EUR. Atmosphere was really nice, both outside and inside.... More

Busy street with many restaurants. Service sucks as the waiters do not like to look at the clients at the tables because the waiters are too busy talking and yelling among themselves. A VERITABLE PASS!

We just had dinner at Sorelle Picchi on the restaurant side (outside). Make sure to bring a jacket as it gets a bit chilly this time of year when the sun goes down. We decided to eat "el fresco" so didn't mind the people walking by our table. The only problem eating outdoors is that people can smoke in the... More

Only a 6 minute walk from the train station this place features roasted or cured meat and cheese. I sat outside but the inside dining room is very nice too. I got a plate of 20 mo. aged salami, a plate of 20 mo. aged prosciutto and one of 30 month aged parmigiano. This is why you come to Parma!... More

We chose this place simply from sitting in the bar next door where you can enjoy a nice aperitivo and some nibbles. It was filling up really quickly so we went to sit down while we could! Service very attentive and not rushed. Great local cuisine served. I had the fettucine with porcini and culatello and then to follow a... More

We had a leisurely lunch at this restaurant (not the bar) on our last day in Parma. Although not fine dining the food we had was well prepared and prsented, and of very good quality. The slight downside is the proximity to people walking the street very close to your table. We had a ravioli and parma ham starters which... More

This place seems to have two parts, the restaurant and close by a bar that serves a limited menu of sandwiches, bruschetta and a couple of other simple items. It may be that the food for both is prepared in the one place but we only visited the bar. We had sandwiches and bruscetta and some wine, water, beer. The... More

Sorelle Picchi is an average restaurant with a very good past. On the night I was served a dry and very average culatello, and some average tortellini alle erbe, hidden under a deep layer of grated parmesan: the parmesan was overpowering; difficult to say if the tortellini were better than average. The staff is not particularly friendly or attentive, and... More

We chose this restaurant based on the two positive reviews, and were very disappointed with our meal and experience at Trattoria Sorelle Picchi. The food was unexceptional. This being a region in Italy that is renowned for its food, this restaurant is subpar to its peers. The service was very poor. The wait staff were very unhelpful and unfriendly. The... More
