bad night ?

We came here on the reputation of a Michelin star and the reviews. It didn't live up to its star. We were here on a Friday night. There were 3 other tables, two of whom seemed to be staying in house. I found myself saying,"This is the best I've ever had," but then said that twice during dinner! Food was impeccable. Presentations deserved the Michelin1 star. But perhaps what made the evening so enjoyable was the service, the patience of the maitre d, his friendliness and his patience. Just a spectacular evening. You must try the pasta with salted riccota, the... More

Starting with the personal greeting at the door by the owner, we were treated to a long, relaxed evening of fine dining with impeccable food and great service, The owner recommended wines for our first courses and entrees and the wine by the glass was excellent. Serving quantities were on the small side for first courses and entrees, but fit... More

We had an excellent meal here. The food on offer was both traditional italian and modern italian, all presented beautifully and with great flavours. The wine list was extremely comprehensive and well priced. The staff were very pleasant and helpful considering we don't speak any italian. Well worth a visit.

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Parizzi in the first week of February. The Terra menu is highly recommended. Excellent , service at the table, presentation and taste and certainly deserves 4+ stars, The ravioli filled with feasant and truffle was one of the highlights.....however what made this dinner truly exceptional was the recommended wine. The Argille by Monte... More

I must say, I have eaten a lot, tasted a lot of good food around the world, but last night I heard myself repeatedly say: this is the best dish I have ever tasted! We had the "Degustazione di pesce" (the fish menu) with wine selection. Along with Mimmo's extraordinary service, we had the best experience at restaurant Parizzi. We... More

My boyfriend and I went to Parma on a whim (we were spending four days in Milano). We found this restaurant from a travel review. This was one of the best meals that I have ever had. The meal started with a waffle that was made with parm cheese. If you like cheese, and who doesn't, this was heavenly. Next,... More

My wife took me here for a birthday treat a few weeks ago. The decor is very chic, but somewhat clinical and spartan - it certainly couldn't be called cosy. Having read other reviews we sidestepped the proffered glass of sparkling and took the menus - thankfully in English. We both went for the 'Earth' tasting menu partly to give... More
