You need time to eat in this restaurant that serves food with love. Our Italian friend from Bologna recommended us this small place. Don't go for dinner before 20:30 as the kitchen won't be ready (lunch is around 13:30). They make all their pastas from scratch. Once you are seated a glass of... read more

We had an utterly lovely meal here on our honeymoon. The food was delicious and the service was excellent along with the quirky décor and lovely city ambience.

Went here based on previous TA reviews. Not disappointed. Quaint setting with lots of old bric brac. Waitress recited the menu to us- nothing printed! Very attentive staff. Wife had tuna and I had pasta. Both were superbly cooked and well presented. The owner came and chatted to us and on discovering it was our 40th wedding anniversary, opened the... More

Following a recommendation from my wife and her work colleagues I hunted out Drogheria della Rosa in the back streets of Bologna and settled into a two hour solo lunch. Even though there was no menu I was not to be disappointed with the quality fresh produce presented. No need to stress the lack of prices, the food and wine... More

This restaurant didn't quite live up to my expectations due to a few disappointing factors. There was no menu which was a disappointment as perusing a menu and deciding what to have is a great pleasure ! Also one of our party is a beer drinker and he wasn't happy that they didn't serve beer ! Two of us are... More

Rare gem in Bologna or in any city for the matter. Easy to see why it's filled with locals. The owner was passionate, delivered on a varied enough 'omakase' and we got served the best ever bolognese tagliatelle.

One of my favourite places to eat in Bologna. Waiter will tell you wants on the menu - its all good. Antipasto and aperitivo offered to start on the house. I always come back here when I'm in Bologna.

Drogheria Della Rosa is our favorite restaurant in Bologna. We often let Emanuele, the owner, chose for us because everything is good and he knows his customers. The Tortelloni filled with squacquerone, a delicious light cheese of Emilia-Romagna, is delicious. Their signature beef steak (filet mignon) is always perfectly cook. Drogheria Della Rosa is friendly, quiet, and relaxed. We shared... More

A late lunch at Drogheria della Rosa turned into one of our best meals ever, and one of our favourite dining memories. Throughout the meal, we really did not know what was happening. Prosecco appeared. Fried fish appeared. Mortadella, prosciutto, and salami appeared. It was all incredible. And then the menus appeared. So we ordered pastas (tagliatelle con ragu. tortellini... The more recent reviews sum this little gem up nicely. I cannot score it excellent as the food, whilst wholesome and tasty, is not quite up to that mark....but the overall charm and experience makes for a wonderful evening. Don't go here if you want fast service and fine food. Do go here if you want a lazy evening with... More
