This restaurant never fails to impress. The food is very good and the service exceptional. It is a little quirky, so if you are after the box stanard evening, indifferent service and standard food, this is not for you. Here the diner comes first. You are given a drink and nibbles the moment you sit down, and i mean the... More

We ate here on our first night in Bologna because we had read good reviews on TripAdvisor and in Lonely Planet. We arrived early and were shown to a small table for two in a nook at the back of the shop. The place is very cluttered with all sorts of things from its previous incarnation as a pharmacy. A... We visited this restaurant for dinner one thursday night and an interesting experience it turned out to be! On arrival we were poured a glass of prosecco each which was most welcome! The wine list then appeared but no menus. Oh well we thought, they'll be here soon meantime we'll order some wine. The list has a good range of... More

Less like a restaurant, more like being invited to a dinner party with strangers. It's all very idiosyncratic. The decor is best described a Sophisticated-Cluttered. The menu is unwritten so you have to pay attention to the lovely friendly waitresses. You also have no idea what you will eventually pay and there's no obvious distinction between what's chargeable and what's... More

Saw this restaurant mentioned in a newspaper article before we went to Italy. searched it out one afternoon to check it out and book a meal for the evening. Decided to enjoy a little sample while we were there and that whet our appetite for the evening meal. Very quaint restaurant, very special staff, beautiful food, great house wine, great... More

We came here on the recommendation of the food critic AA Gill in The Times and he was completely right to rave about this amazing restaurant. Typically Italian service when we arrived we were given wine, which the owner opened and poured without asking and poured a glass for himself (we were not charged for the initial glass of wine)... Little bit out of the way from the major tourist locations, but only 5 min walk from center. Great atmosphere siting outside in the summer. Great service with welcome drink and little appetizer. Great local bologna food. Fantastic service. Good value for money although on the higher end of the price line. Highly recommended for food lovers.

A little walk from the Quadrilatero you find this restaurant with very nice atmosphere. The place is inside an old Pharmacy-building, and there is also a terrace with a few tables. It is not the cheapest place around, but the food is excellent so you get value for money anyhow. The staff is young, but seem to be good educated... More

Synopsis: Lots of hype but does not meet expectations. Curious dining experience. Outdoor terrace on a hot august night, charming interior space, and a big hello from the owner upon arrival. Quick service (not too many diners as most locals are on their way out of town for the summer holiday), blah tortelloni pasta, wonderful filetto. No prices. No written... More
