Undecided what to order, the owner, Massimo Montanari, came to our rescue but suggestion Tris di minestre Cesarina: 3 pasta dishes for two consisting of Lasague which is the best followed by Sedanini con proscuitto e funghi porchini, unusaual of which we never had before and Granmique on Sdsiccia. The main dish was Costolette Agnello fritte: Fried lamb chop, first... More

Sophisticated ambiance. Excellent service and food. Great selections of food and wine. English speaking. Equivalent to New York City dining. Best in bologna.

If you want to try a really soft and aldente and of course - fresh maded tortellini you should go there a one time at least. After five years visiting Bologna evry year, I can't imagin my stay without their consome with tortellini. I could also recommend tortellini alla panna. Is better to do reservation becouse the restaurant is always... More

Nice restaurant. Probably didn't order correctly. I had a veal dish that was average but my wife had a pasts dish stuffed with pumpkin that was outstanding. The fried artichoke was not a favorite of mine and the sausage appetizer was ok. All in all i would come back and order differently.

Place to recomend. We had pasta bolognese which was very good, maybe not as good as at Diana. Boiled meat was very good, fried artichockes exellent, tortellini in brodo exellent, service exellent as well. Good location.

This restaurant is very central and is a typical Italian restaurant with the waiters in black suits and white linen table cloths. Food is very good and the place was very busy so booking at the weekend is necessary.

This restaurant was one of two recommended by the owner of the rented apartment for a (rainy) weekend in Bologna. They took a reservation in the afternoon when we walked by and at 7:30pm we turned up. Now someone who hated the place in his her/review (an American?) wrote about lots of tuxedoed waiters standing around in an empty restaurant;... More

We happened upon this restaurant situated in a quiet spot near Santo Stefano. It was a nice little find and a joy to sit outside on a beautiful night in the shadow of the pretty church. We shared a salad of raw artichokes topped with parmesan, very different and good. We both had pastas, I had the noodles with Bolognese... More

Good restaurant in central Bologna, situated in a cobbled arcaded square. The food is very good, we ordered the tortellini alla panna which seemed to be the local speciality, and we were not disappointed. A good Sangiovese Superiore red wine, and there you have a nice dinner. €120 / 2pax.

We had an incredible feast here on our last night in Italy. Everything was delicious (we let the waiter guide us to the stand out dishes), but dessert was the highlight. Simple peaches with mint and gelato blew me away.
