One of the 2 best gelaterias in whole Italy! (other one is Santo Stefano, in Bologna too). You can see in front of you how the ice cream is being mixed with the huge stick - for me this is an indication of the highest league.

Find this parlor. Old school method, you cannot see the ice-cream but just the list of flavors. All properly covered with the perfect cooling conditions. The kind of place that is quite rare these days. Still, uber modern and following standard pricing- by scoop. Long lines but stay, try, and return. AMAZING.

Not in the most prominent of Bologna's location, this gelateria is worth seeking out for its amazing flavours. Our family of five has sampled many gelatos in Northern and Southern Italy, and Cremeria Funivia certainly ranks in our top two.

Absolutely the best ice cream in Bologna; I walked from place to place, trying all the ice cream I had recommended by locals and TripAdvisor, and nothing beat this place. Must try!

Don't let a line out the door keep you from taking time to wait! this place has the best gelato in all of Bologna and is worth the wait! The gelato is smooth and creamy! Quality and affordable, great customer service!

Simply the best ice cream ever! Could not add anything else... You go to bologna and go to this place any day of the year.. In the summer it is said that the cue goes around the block... In winter just of a couple hundreds of meters... Chocolate/rum/hazelnut ... To die for! No questions asked ... Is the best ice... More

This gelati just blew my mind. Wow. It was simply the best gelati we've ever had. We tried a few flavours from the friendly staff and had to buy much bigger sizes each than we had wanted so that we could have more delicious flavours. They were all amazing, and many of them very unusual and innovative as well. I... More

Excellent gelato! Very creamy and the flavours were rich and satisfying. I tried San Luca which was fantastic - white chocolate with puffed rice - smooth, sweet and the rice crispies were a great touch. Also had bacio which had whole hazelnuts and rich chocolate. Definitely recommend this gelateria.

Well, if you miss this, you will regret it. This is the most delicious ice cream I have ever eaten. Fan-tas-tic! We came back four times!
