Excellent gelato! Very creamy and the flavours were rich and satisfying. I tried San Luca which was fantastic - white chocolate with puffed rice - smooth, sweet and the rice crispies were a great touch. Also had bacio which had whole hazelnuts and rich chocolate. Definitely recommend this gelateria.

Well, if you miss this, you will regret it. This is the most delicious ice cream I have ever eaten. Fan-tas-tic! We came back four times!

We heard about this gelateria from the intern at our hotel. She is from Turkey and was trying to eat at every gelateria in Bologna. This was her favorite. We had readthat the best place in Italy for gelato is Florence. We got to Florence a week after this and nothing in Florence was close and we ate at their... More

Granted flavours exceptional but prices have increased every year ad portion sizes definately much smaller. They don't give a wafer biscuit on top as well! Would recommend the effort of trying out the other ice cream shops in Bologna which are just as good/some better!

I really recommend, the best cremeria in Bologna. While visiting the old town you have to try it. Next to small, charming park, where you can sit and rest. White chocolate + berries - the best combination.

If you do nothing else in Bologna... even if you are just passing through... you MUST have gelato from Cremeria Funivia. It's easy to find, ridiculously clean (as is every food service establishment I've been to in Italy) and absolutely divine. Every day I spent in Bologna, I had at least three scoops of Funivia gelato every day. I'm not... More

I've eaten gelato all over Italy and Croatia and this is some of the best! Some fantastic flavors...some traditional and some slightly unusual. Deliciousness in a cone!

We went twice in 10 minutes! A few years ago we had gelato in Florence that was SO good (Vivoli) and wished we had gone back for more. We learned our lesson and, after enjoying our gelato at Cremeria Funivia, we decided it was so good that we had to go back for more. We tried lots of different flavors... More

After multiple stops in Italy, the gelato in cremeria funivia was the best tasting gelato my wife and I have tried. (Although I must admit that I tend to like it all when it comes to gelato!)

After dinning at Trattoria Gianna, they recommended us to have an ice cream here, at the cremeria funivia at piazza cavour's store. Then we went there. The big lines already gave us a preview that this was a famous attraction. I chose a double cone with those awesome stracciatella and pistachio flavours. No regrets. Definatelly the best in town!
