Great icecream

The ice cream is creamy and with surprising flavours. Stopped by in winter and still enjoyed it even if I ate it outside in the cold.

either in winter or in summer, this place is open and full until late (in Summer you may find long cues) for an ice cream. and we good reason! the creamy ice cream served with grace or hot chocolate, is one of the best I have ever tried. introduced by a local friend, whenever I go to Bologna, I make... Best gelato ever! So good that of the 5 days I was in town, I came here 4 days (and wanted to come all 5 days, but it is closed on Mondays). I tried 4 other gelato shops in the area, but kept coming back here. Really the gelato is superb and their flavours are traditional and also some twists.... More

In Bologna there is no shortage of good icecream, but this was the best! We ended up coming here three times in one week...

The gelato here is so smooth and fragrant! It was definitely the best gelato I've tried in Italy! Would seriously consider visiting Bologna again just for this!

Hands down the best gelato I've ever had in Italy (and I've eaten a lot of gelato all over Italy). Creamy & unique flavors. You can taste what you've ordered!

Many people were walking around with funny looking cones filled with ice cream in their hands. So we were attracted to Cremeria Cavour. The price level is about the same as in other gelaterias but the ice is really amazing! I could not get enough of it. So many interesting tastes and flavors! Almost unbelievable! I highly recommend it!

I went to this place on recommendation of a friend that lived in Bologna and it is definitely the best gelato I have tasted! I would highly recommend visiting even if you only have a day in Bologna. There are a range of different flavours to choose from - I had "Cavour" flavour which was delicious!

I've tried most of the gelaterie and cremerie in Bologna and la Funivia is by far the best in the city. The quality is top and the staff are very professional and friendly. Try the chocolate and rum flavour, as well as Alice (marscapone with some liquid chocolate at the bottom of the cup). Also don't miss the pistacchio. The... More

Stopped in for a post lunch gelato and we were glad we did. The fruit flavors, especially the pear and and the banana were some the best I have ever had...like biting into the perfectly ripe fruit themselves. My sons had straticella and raved. There is a nice park across the street where you can sit and enjoy the gelato... More
