Best secret in town to eat

A great small restaurant centrally located although on a secondary street. Great value for your money and very friendly. Perfect place for lunch at a resonnable price or supper but many options buffet ,sit down restaurant,or next door at their less formal place also possible take out.

A great small restaurant centrally located although on a secondary street. Great value for your money and very friendly. Perfect place for lunch at a resonnable price or supper but many options buffet ,sit down restaurant,or next door at their less formal place also possible take out.

Highly recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner. Expect good food, not expensive, great wine selection and warm service. I went here countless times while living in Bologna. The owners are wonderful.

This spot near the university has terrific and inexpensive pastas and meat/seafood dishes. I went for lunch, twice, during my recent 4-day stay in Bologna. One of the best things about Cuchiaio d'Oro is that it was the only place where I got to try some of the great vegetables I saw for sale at the Mercato Mezzo. I highly... More
