Happy service, nice ambience

We popped in here for a pre lunch drink. There are tables outside and in and as soon as you go inside it feels like home from home. The lady dealing with us was very nice and the drinks were well presented and good value. Lots of locals seemed to be popping in for a quick coffee whilst we were... read more

The look and feel of the place has got me to go in and have a good dinner. I came alone, but it seems to be best enjoyed with someone special, especially if you sit in the area a few steps down. I sat in that area with about 4 couples.. and it really is a place conducive for intimate... More

I had lunch in this Bistro with a friend in December and unfortunately it was not agood idea: dry bread and lasagna cooked in the microwave. Not acceptable in the centre of a city like Bologna. Never anymore!

We went here as we were looking for a place to have dinner. It is in a small backstreet near the main piazza's so very good location. A lot of People were sitting outside so we decided to have dinner there. We had Parma ham as starter and then one lasagne and one tagliatelle. The tagliatelle was fine but a... More

Hidden on a small street just down from the two towers this little restaurant pops out onto the street. It's very quaint. The prices were reasonable as well. I would say that the food was very average. Nothing to write home about. We have come to love tagliatelle with ragu and have been trying it in almost every restaurant we... More

This is the perfect place to grab a quick bite to eat or a cup of coffee or tea. The interior is quite large and has the perfect ambiance of a french cafe/bistro. It is a lovely place to spend an afternoon studying or chitchatting, but the service can be rather slow and inattentive. I'd recommend just for coffee or... More

We had a lovely lunch here with an excellent antipasto plate and piadena with ham and artichoke. The food was good and a great selection of wines-by the glass or bottle. Our waiter, Federico, provided great service. The bistro looked like something out of Paris and was filled with all ages, from teenagers to grandparents. They were all Italian, which... More

While the coffee and pastries are standard and the service mediocre, the cute setting is what makes this place unique. The decor is very girly and along the lines of shabby chic. You can sit upstairs or downstairs on comfy sofas with velvety pillows. It's a great place to come for a pot of tea or glass of wine. I've... More

Chic and elegant atmosphere but very comfortable too. Delicious and fresh pastries, cafe, salads, piadinas. Very friendly staff. Good place to relax and get out of the heat. Also weekend nights have aperitivo (fingerfood buffet-social) and good music.

Very welcoming. Good snacks, nice wine. Smiling staff. Child friendly. Really calm bar in the old town.
