Very nice but not the best

Funivia is very chic and very popular, but the ice creams aren't a patch on Geletauro in San Vitale for flavour or innovation.

It is a bit of a way from the city centre but if you are climbing to San Luca you are only 10 mins from this wonderful ice cream shop. You'll need to queue behind the local people buying a kilo in a box for lunch, but worth the wait. If you like it sharp- the lemon granite is fantastic.

Creamy full flavor ice cream, to-die-for. The best ice cream in town, ice cream to go. No sitting available. Worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Definitely one of the must go ice creams in town. Both the shops, one near Casalecchio and the other in the very centre, prepare really good icecreams.

Easy to miss but you should make sure to find it. A really cool Gelateria with lots of flavours and located conveniently in front of a lovely piazza/park where I highly recommend you eat it! Despite it's reputation, prices are in line with elsewhere. Definitely worth a visit!

The ice cream is great, ok, it's really great. Having half an hour wasted in line, waiting for so many ppl to have an ice cream...it is not great. Too much marketing, there is plenty of great ice cream shop in Bologna. Avoid the flock

We agree with our tour guide and so many who have already reviewed this gelato place. It is the best we tasted during our 20 days in Italy. The flavors are strong and the texture is creamy and smooth. Wow!

Great icecream, fastastic flavours, very innovative. Generous portions, with the added bonus of liquid chocolate at the bottom of the waffle. Friendly staff, keen to help. Although there are no seats inside, la piazza Cavour with beautiful trees, a lovely pond and amazing flowers offers the perfect setting to enjoy even more the experience of eating your icecream.

We have been visiting Italy for 20 years and this is the best ice cream we have tasted. We had the mandarin ice cream topped with vanilla - very difficult to choose as there were so many flavours. Very popular as there was a long queue but worth the wait.
