Hidden away down a little alley, but only two minutes walk away from the Basilica in the main piazza. A lovely light modern space and a warm welcome. Service is very attentive and professional but not at all stuffy. A good sign, everyone seems happy, staff and diners. The menu is short but very interesting. And then, oh wow, the... More

just few words to address you this tiny and cute small restaurant just next to the Piazza Maggiore. Even if offering traditional dishes in reality they are served in a very nice scenario and with a little touch more. We had Tortellini in brodo, Lasagnette Ravioli with ricotta and they where all great. For drinking we got 2 bottles of... More

In the heart of Bologna, a nice small place where we got food that was carefully cooked and very original within the local tradition. Friendly service within a nice modern environment (much better than fake antique as in most places around). Not cheap, but very reasonnable price.

Fresh pastas with a traditional bolognese, another with sausage - both excellent. And slow cooked pork ribs with cabbage that was sublime. Good wine selections The room is all white - a little cold but not sterile. Casual atmosphere. Service is slow. Only 2 wait staff for 2 rooms so if waiting bugs you, don't go. But go for the... More

We loved this restaurant and felt it was a nice break from the more traditional meals we'd been eating since we'd arrived in Italy a week prior. The atmosphere was very clean, bright and beautiful and the service was terrific. We began the Potatoes and Mortadella soufflè with Parmesan cheese sauce and balsamic vinegar. Unfortunately we split it -- I'd... More

Stale bread was not a good beginning, and neither were the scruffily dressed staff who did not fit the snazzy modern décor. They were too rushed to give proper attention; service was slow and meals came out in random order. Limited menu; food OK but not up to to the high standards of other restaurants in Bologna. Wine unremarkable. No... More

This restaurant is in a charming narrow street a couple of minutes walk from the Piazza Maggiore. The interior is bright and comfortable and the main decorations are huge black and white photos, including one of Marlene Dietrich. We started our meal with cannoli stuffed with a lemon flavoured soft goat cheese which were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. For... More

We had a great dinner here with some new friends we met on our trip. The food was all very fresh and local. The pasta was especially good. The lasagna was perfect. Great spot fir a real local dining experience.

I attended a business dinner here in a group of about 20 so I couldn't give my full attention to the food. As in most places in Bologna the food is somewhat traditional with a slight twist but if you go there once a year like me you would never get bored. The charcuterie selection and the tongue I ordered... More

We ate here on our honeymoon and the food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get a table without having to book - arrive at 7pm if you have not booked to make sure you get seats. We had 2 courses both of which were delicious - look at my photos! It was good value for money. Before it... More
