I attended a business dinner here in a group of about 20 so I couldn't give my full attention to the food. As in most places in Bologna the food is somewhat traditional with a slight twist but if you go there once a year like me you would never get bored. The charcuterie selection and the tongue I ordered... More

We ate here on our honeymoon and the food was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get a table without having to book - arrive at 7pm if you have not booked to make sure you get seats. We had 2 courses both of which were delicious - look at my photos! It was good value for money. Before it... More

The food and service was impeccable. Staff was very helpful. Generally it was a great experience. Well done to all. If you should ever go to Bologna, I definitely suggest you visit this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

The food was simply great. The staff were attentive with fantastic wine recommendations and high quality food! The menu offerings are not unusual, this is relatively simple food but done incredibly well and with a gourmet twist. I enjoyed our time there that I would love to go back. It was the best food experience of our two week trip... More

Three of us split a large antipasto platter which had 5 or 6 types of meats and some aged parmesan cheese. It was delicious. We then had two different pastas and one pork dish, and loved all three of them. Add in a reasonably priced bottle of very good sangiovese, and this was one of the top meals of our... More

Went to this restaurant on recommendation from hotel staff & while the food was very good, we didn't walk away saying 'this was great or the ragu was the best' or anything like that. In reading other reviews I've come to the conclusion that the ambiance, or really the lack of, was part of the reason. The restaurant has a... More

This was our most expensive restaurant on our italian holiday but worth it. Bolognese food with a modern twist. Very good service. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was excellent. Very knowledgeable staff. All courses and wine were superb. In a city of excellent food this was special. Not far from our hotel

This is my pick of the restaurants in Bologna. It serves classical italian dishes with a modern twist using only seasonal local produce. The guinea fowl lasagna was a case in point, perfectly seasoned guinea fowl in between light and soft multi layers of pasta topped with a light and creamy béchamel sauce. The wine list was well rounded and... More

This is a modern restaurant with great food and service. The menu is small but the food quality is great. It is in a little side street behind the Piazza Maggiore off Via d' Azegiio and is modern internally with English speaking waiters. We shared a mixed meat platter and then had guinea fowl and pork ribs. The wine selection... More

Modern place within the real center, with traditional food. Beef tartare is superior, as well as the artisan beer served. Overall, nice place, a bot overpriced given the little short menù list.
