To my mind, this is one of the best traditional restaurants in Bologna. We had dinner here two weeks ago and we very very satisfied both by the food quality and by the table-service. We ordered cotoletta bolognese and filetto ai porcini. They were both excellent. The wine wasn't bad either. It's not one of the cheapest restaurants, we spent... More

Went there and had the Fettuccine al Ragu' and Cotoletta Bolognese with oven-baked potatoes. Really great food in the best Bolognese tradition, fast and attentive service, very friendly staff.

We decided to eat here since it was on the same street as our apartment and we were glad we did. The place was packed, but the owner got us a table in the back. He and the waiter were so friendly and treated us with a great grappa for starter. We followed it with some great appetizers, cotoletta bolognese,... More

The atmosphere and the food was nice, but not really special. The only really good thing was the mixed starters. You get many different small plates and everything was as you expect it in Italy. As main dish we had Spaghetti Bolognese and chops, both was ok.

We were looking for somewhere to eat on a very cold and rainy night in Bologne. The hotel had mentioned this traditional restaurant so we decided to try it. We couldnt get through the door at first and thought it was closed but then someone came and opened it for us. We didnt get a particularly good or warm welcome.... More

Pros: this place is simple with very high standards of food. If there are two or more of you the antipasto broccaindosso is well worth trying. They bring out a selection of dishes that were all delicious. They ranged from ricotta, to salad, to a parmesan aubergine bake to artichokes in a cream sauce etc. They were simple but the... More

I went here on recommendation from my hotel. I arrived at 6:30 but found they did. Ot open until 7:30. I walked around the area, had a beer, and returned just after 7:30. They promptly gave me a table and offered dinner selections. After reading through a very offering menu, I decided to let my server choose for me. She... More

It's a quite typical "osteria" in the city center, very noisy but with good ambiance for friends and groups. There are a lot of tourist, but it is not so touristic! The staff is quite nice, but if you eat at the beginning if the evening you have to go to fast to leave before the second round. The pasta... More
