A bit kitsch in its decor and a little difficult to communicate in English with the waiters, but I thoroughly enjoyed an amazing calzone and my partner enjoyed a delicious pizza here.

As pretty regular customers, I'm honest when I say we always come away satisfied. Light & fluffy dough, pleasant service & they don't burn the underneath, which many pizzerias do. 5 minutes from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the city centre. They also have round tables for group bookings and two rooms, one of which is... More

ok, it's a matter of taste and a classic argument, between the lovers of a more crocant pizza dough vs. the soft Napolitan one. I am a fan of the latter, and was constantly serching, trying - and getting disappointed with the pizzas in this area. So i tried "Da Tonino" because he is the only pizzaiolo in Bologna who... More

On may the 18th we had a cooking class pizza making in pizzeria Tonino. What a great place and friendly people. We made our own pizza including making the dough and baking it. We had a great time and now have to practice this at home. Thanks to Antonio and team for the great hospitality!

The “Pizzeria Tonino” is located near the “Martiri” square just at the end of “Marconi street”. The place is recently renovated and it’s nice. We take a pizza and it was disgusting: it was too salty and the ingredients weren’t good!! They smell!! We complain with the waiter but for him everything was nice!! The result was that we take... We came here because we wanted a good pizza dinner and after the recognition to the pizza restaurants recommended by the Concierge and Lonely Planet we were very suspicious and decided to ask at the hotel for the best pizza place in Bologna. This is the one they recommended. We were not disappointed. A family restaurant, the decor a bit... More

Great service good food. Had the bolognase and shared a pizza. Atmosphere is a little sterile. Like I said, very good but there is better.

We decided to eat here after reading some good reviews, and overall we had a nice meal. The pizzas weren't bad for Bologna (not a patch on real Neapolitan pizzas, but much better than a lot of Bolognese pizzerias), the service was very good and the staff were all very polite and friendly. We ate in 'la grotta', which had... More

This is a southern Italian restaurant and pizzeria. They have original Pizza in true Neapolitan style but then other offerings on their menu are also quite original and delicious. Half of the restaurant has a cave decor which I don't necessarily like very much but the front part looks like a classic restaurant which I like much better. I recommend... More
