We loved this place so much we went back for 3 dinners. The pizzas were all great, and the house wines were awesome! It was a cozy, family-run restaurant.

We liked this so much we went back again the next evening. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly with plenty of locals and family members but no trouble getting by in English. Obviously pizzas were their speciality and very good they were too. Try the one with a bit of everything named after the cook/proprietor.Not so keen on the... More

We booked for 7pm, which is as the restaurant opens. we were seated in a booth and the service was friendly. The menu was in english. We ordered a starter of bruschetta, 1 with lard and 1 with carpaccio of tuna. These were good. 3E each. I had a seafood pizza 9 E, and hubby had a bit of everything... More

This was a great family run pizzeria, with great food once you realised it was open. although it said open on the door when we arrived, very few lights were on until we went in, when they then turned on the lights. The food was very good value and the desserts (especially the meringa) were to die for. The bill... More

This place makes a welcome change from some of the rip-off and nouvelle cuisine influenced restaurants in Bologna. It’s family run and Sicilian influenced and that’s all to the good in my mind. There’s no pressure to eat or drink expensively – the emphasis is on eating well - and as it was just round the corner from our hotel... More

Great Sicilian family oriented restaurant. After living in Sicily for five years, it was good to find a restaurant in northern Italy that made pizza Sicilian style..plan on staying awhile for like a typical Sicilian restaurant they leave you alone to enjoy your meal!

Jari is a family run restaurant that from the outside looks very ordinary and rather plain. The atmosphere inside when we visited was great with a real mix of ages and groups of people. It is down the road from the AC Hotel Bologna (Marriot) and to be honest we walked there because a thunderstorm was threatening and it was... More

Very friendly, homely place, excellent value for money. Every pizza freshly made, of course. Don't miss it!

I read reviews about the place before hand and my expectations were fairly high. The place was fairly small, and thus really spontaneous. I was have to wait almost half an hour before there was free table for me. This raised my expectations ever further. I must say that I wasn't anywhere near dissapointed when I finally tasted my pizza,... More

3rd visit to this restaurant in just over a year and would return. We enjoy the rustic cuisine, casual vibe and reasonable prices but it is the warmth of the family that brings us back. We accidentally left our cheap umbrella on a chair and unbeknownst to us, someone from the restaurant kindly dropped it off at our hotel later... More
