Excellent restaurant

Second time there and food great both times. It is a bit out of the way but that is good, not a tourist trap. Well prepared tradition Bolognese food. Amicable host and chef, husband and wife. Prices are reasonable. Food fresh and well preapred.

Found it on trip advisor, very close to where we were staying. Made a reservation though we could have walked in around 8:15. Everything was very good including biodynamic wine and the desert, but my speck wrapped steak with spinach was the star of the show. Nice menu, though a little meaty for my lady. Definitely recommended, and nice to... More

This restaurant is the authentic Bolognese experience, tucked away on the corner of a residential street in the South of the city near the Viale. It's very small, with no more than 15 tables in the entire place, but that makes it cosy, friendly, quiet enough to have a decent conversation over the table without shouting, but not so quiet... Again went there based on TA reviews. Nice atmosphere and hospitable reception. When I received the wine, the waitress broke the cork and asked the owner to get the remnants out. We then tasted it- wife first- she got some cork. Glass removed and new glass brought. It was then poured - my glass had lots of cork floating in... More

We fell in love within seconds of sitting down at this great restaurant. One look at the menu and you want to come back....Antonella, so charming and funny, discretely allowing us to try out our poor Italian whilst her English is excellent. We decided to speak French to her Italian and enjoyed the time she takes to make each customer... More

Found this while searching on TripAdvisor and very happy to discover it was around the corner from our Airbnb. We booked (which is always a good idea) and were welcomed by who I believe were the owners, one of which served and joked with us all night. All the food was delicious, and when we asked if the desserts were... More

Our first day in Bologna tired from an early morning flight we had lunch in this restaurant close to our hotel. What a find, we were welcomed from the start made to feel comfortable. We had amazing pasta to start if only I could cook it like that, followed by veal and beef. The tastes were incredible I do not... More

Warm greeting from the owner who runs this little restaurant with her husband. She made us very comfortable and helped with our rudimentary Italian. Everything we had was delicious along with an excellent selection of wines - all very reasonably priced. They must order porcini by the bushel as I had them on almost everything except for desert. The pastas... More
