We arrived early around 7.30pm and secured a table and by 8pm they were full and turning people away. We had the asparagus and zucchini flower risotto which was delicious and perfect texture , roasted vegetables and the peppers with raisins and pine nuts - sweet and tasty and the calves liver with onion came sliced in pieces - very... Having found the osteria we were originally intending to visit packed out - as we walked back to via dell'independence this little trattoria on the via righi beckoned my husband in with it's quaint interior and intimate candle lit tables. With friendly and efficient service from the waitresses and some rather fab house red to wash down the breadsticks, we... More

After a bad experience in another restaurant and a search for a nice restaurant (many closed due to august-holiday-time in Italy) we came across this lovely place (due to tripadvisor!). And all positive feedback was more than experienced by us: fast service, good English, nice atmosphere, very tasty home-food for decent prices. For sure you have to come by here... More

Very cozy and atmospheric restaurant! Quality of food and maintenance- very good! I can not agree with the other guests on the dish "Vitello Tonnato" - it's awful! It is the sauce! One mayonnaise - anchovies and tuna in the minimum number! the rest - perfect!

Last week I had dinner here with my friend while we were on a holiday in Bologna. This trattoria is a small, cute restaurant in a quieter part of the center of Bologna. The atmosphere of this restaurant is authentic, warm and romantic. Besides tourists, also a lot of Italians come to eat here. The staff is friendly and their... More

My husband and I ate here on our overnight stay in Bologna. We were seated just inside the doorway which was perfect as we could see outside without the noise. We had an excellent meal, tagliatelle with ragu followed by liver for my husband and steak for myself, a bottle of water and a litre of house wine all for... More

My husband and I ate here during our 3 day stay in Bologna on our honeymoon. It was recommended by our B&B owner (B&B Benelli) as one of her favourite local restaurants. We were lucky that she had booked us a table on a Monday night which meant we were able to sit outside on the small terarce- booking is... More

The service at this place was terrible. We had made reservations and were seated next to an Italian couple. We ordered the mixed antipasto, which was divine - their signature dish of a cheese mousse was a stand-out. But then that was it. We had the tagliatelle al ragù, as we wanted to eat authentic ragu bolognese in Bologna, but... More
