My husband and I ate here on our overnight stay in Bologna. We were seated just inside the doorway which was perfect as we could see outside without the noise. We had an excellent meal, tagliatelle with ragu followed by liver for my husband and steak for myself, a bottle of water and a litre of house wine all for... More

My husband and I ate here during our 3 day stay in Bologna on our honeymoon. It was recommended by our B&B owner (B&B Benelli) as one of her favourite local restaurants. We were lucky that she had booked us a table on a Monday night which meant we were able to sit outside on the small terarce- booking is... More

The service at this place was terrible. We had made reservations and were seated next to an Italian couple. We ordered the mixed antipasto, which was divine - their signature dish of a cheese mousse was a stand-out. But then that was it. We had the tagliatelle al ragù, as we wanted to eat authentic ragu bolognese in Bologna, but... More

Lunch, that blessed hour. By now I'd been in Bologna a couple of meals and learnt the hard way (an indifferent dinner at a place that had free tables) you need to book, not just rock up expecting the red carpet treatment. BUT, generally speaking unless a place does one service, you can book at opening time for a late... More

My review is the same as the previous review. .Excellent ! The onion pasta dish was out of this world , so simple in ingredients but superb in execution and taste . The tagliata. of beef in rosemary and sea salt. perfect . The roast vegetables again perfect . Service from the two ladies was exactly right , so warm... More

Stopped in for dinner and had the best meal we've had during several trips to Bologna. The veal in tuna sauce(not for everyone but amazing if you're a fan) was the best we have ever had. Pasta with onion sauce was simple but fantastic and enough for two to share as a starter. Beef strips with rosemary were perfectly cook... More

We were recommended this restaurant by our guide. It was the best. The pasta was perfect, the main course, I had the veal, my wife had vitello tomato, both perfect. The only gripe, that while they had a vey good wine list, I only ordered 1 glass of red house wine, which was not very good. The staff was very... More

This was recommend to us and it was great. We all had different dishes and shared. Everything was delicious, even dessert. Make sure to make reservations, as it was filled up and they were turning them away.

This was a tiny, yet well run restaurant. The primi courses, Tagliatelle Ragu and Lasagna, were excellent. My husband thought the vino di casa was quite good, since we were too exhausted to handle an entire bottle. Wine was a big selling point, and most diners had one or two bottles on the table. After the primi, we selected the... More
