After reading the comments here I feel better about writing to truth about this place. I actually felt bad about my views on this place, since the two men who work there were very friendly. DO NOT GO HERE. PLEASE DON'T. This was the worst meal I can remember, and one of the more expensive. I had the duck, which... More

Overpriced...just avoid it....there are hundreds of better options. Which is a shame, it is charming inside with lots of quirky memorabilia and serves good pasta. I spent £10 more than I should have so not upset...just opt for better value.

The place has a wide reputation in town for being the classical trap for tourists. Outside it looks nice and cosy, which is what catches the interest of the visitor, but then it is ridiculously expensive and the food is average (if not low) quality. To avoid at any cost.

Visited this restaurant on the first night of our stay. Just down the path from the Best Western Hotel San Santo. The food was nice but we had ordered two cheese starters (cheese and honey) thinking they were 22 euro for two as we thought had been implied, however it was 22 euro each, in addition to this was is... I wish I could get a group of the previous reviewers together to stand outside this restaurant and protest, encouraging passersby to boycott it. Setting foot inside has forever tainted my impression of the ex-Jewish ghetto neighborhood of Bologna. I shudder every time I pass through. The owner is, hands down, the rudest person I have ever encountered in my... More

This place gives the impression of being a the "real Italy" when you come across it. It looks rustic and authentic but BEWARE. This is a wine bar rather than a restaurant and th eowner insisted that we order at least one glass of wine with our meal. The menu was written (badly) on a piece of cardboard which initially... What seems like a lovely and romantic restaurant at first sight is the worst place you could possibly find for a meal out in Bologna. Incredibly grumpy waiter, [--] food, 5 euros for a bottle of water, 13,50 for half a litter of house wine... never had anything like this in Bolgona, or Italy. DONT GO! Unless you enjoy being... We came across this little enoteca on our stroll around Bologna. We were hungry and tired of the noise, so this place, in one of the quieter side streets, seemed the perfect choice. As others have already written, the enoteca gives the impression of being a small, unusual and casual little rustic restaurant. The menu is handwritten on a piece... More

I was attracted by the look of the restaurant and naively hoped I discovered a hidden gem in the city. Once I was in, the two deceitful old Italian men, the waiter and the cook, assigned me a table at the window after playing a show that all other tables were booked. I later found out all other passengers walked... More

We only went to the restaurant because its was raining and next door to our hotel. We were lazy and it served us right. The most expensive meal since we arrived in Italy. The pasta was small and no where near as good as something I could make myself. The wine was 28 euros and had bits of cork in... More
