I was expecting this meal to be one of my better meals in Bologna, and after having the very interesting appetizer platter, i thought that might be the case; however, the pasta dishes were all over cooked and way too soft in texture. Flavourwise, it was also a bit light as well, I guess I should have tried renting a... More

After some ambivalence about trying Gianni's after reading the reviews, my husband and I ended up walking right by the alley on Via Clavature exactly when we were hungry, tired, and less than appreciative of the heat. After the comments in a few of the reviews about reception and crowds, I was not sure what to expect when we opened... More

We expected great things from this restaurant, but while the service was excellent, polite and attentive, the food was pretty mediocre. It was not a matter of pricing, as this is not an inexpensive restaurant... I own a small business and am loath to write a negative review, but the simple fact is that the owner needs to step up the... More

We were a bit disappointed with this restaurant. The salad was clearly from a bag, the broccoli overdone, and the "fresh" pasta just so-so (but the ragu was nice). We were also disappointed to see other tables treated to a bit of limoncello at the end of their meals while we were not. For a vegetable, pasta and a glass... More

Attractive little traditional restaurant with good menu and wine list. Comfortably busy at lunchtime.

Very nice, authentic trattoria even if it is on the tourist trail. Great food and reasonably priced, friendly service. Definitely try the bolito misto, mixed boiled meats with mashed potatoes and salsa Verde - sounds iffy but is really good.

Tucked down a little side alley so easy to miss but worth searching out. Helpful jokey service and excellent food. Do try the ravioli with tomato sauce and for the main course veal with Parma ham. Very good sangiovese reserva wine do ask waiters advice. Great atmosphere.

Dinner with family at this restaurant tucked away in an alley off Via Clavature - warm and cosy inside with welcoming staff. Food and wine were excellent - pork fillet with balsamic based sauce - a highlight, simple but perfectly cooked beefsteak and beautiful veal parmigiana - adjacent pasta dishes also looked very appetizing. Able to squeeze in a quality... More

From Piazza Minghetti I was able to see this small trattoria, that simply invited me to come in. and even though they were extremely booked, we insisted in trying they're kitchen and they found a way to accommodate us - a table of 3. The service is efficient and the staff friendly and enjoyable. The food is extremely delicious. You'll... More
