If you are looking for a top class restaurant with fantastic, creative food and a great wine cellar ... don't waste much time in looking around and head to Via del Battibecco, where you will find the best restaurant in the city center. I have been there many times and they have never ever disappointed me. Most of the customers... More

Whilst in Bologna we were recommended the restaurant by our hotel, the food was excellent well presented and very tasty. The service was very good and the staff very helpful. It is defiantly worth trying here if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed

I cannot understand why the staff put Italians in one part of the restaurant and others in another....I found this distasteful! That being said it was a good meal of an inventive nature and very good wines by the glass.

Following a long, grueling trip from New York which featured delayed flights and missed connections, a large group of my colleagues and I decided to dine at Battibecco based on a friend's experience here many years ago. Fortunately for all of us, this Trattoria still remains an excellent choice. By the time we finished our meal, our travel ordeal had... More

Our last night after some disappointing recommended restaurants, we came across this small unassuming restaurant hidden in Via Battibenco and next to Via Fusari. The Trattoria is near Piazza. Maggiore and major sights of Bologna. We made reservations beforehand specially on a Friday evening. The place was packed with locals and tourists. We were whisked to our table and were... More

Excellent service and wonderful food, this little restaurant near the centre of town is well worth a visit. The wines on offer were varied and the menu had several very tempting dishes, I settled on a goats cheese salad to start while my colleagues opted for the octopus. We all chose roasted monk fish for the main. Really tasty, well... More
