We passed by this well-located restaurant and decided we would go there the next day, it looked like a good restaurant with some history behind it. The access is flat (we were with a wheelchair) but there is no accessible toilet (toilets are actually on 1st floor). We all had a good meal (I chose the tortellini with broth, I... More

My family (six of us) came here during our visit to Bologna during the Christmas break. The staff were cheerful and the setting was quite "family-feel" without being overly pretentious. But it was the food that was worth coming for - proper pasta. We tried all kinds of it and loved every bite. The lasagne especially was superb, but it... More

expensive? yes... waiters are a bit snob? yes... but i think this is one of the best restaurant that you can eat real bologna cusine in the heart of the city. Maybe not best one but if you are in the city center don't miss here. Taglietelle con ragu and lasagne are their best dishes

This place is nestled in the heart of bologna (an under rated city in general), a city known for its food, its wine and its shopping (learned that once we arrived). Our stop in Bologna was short but we wanted to sample some of the cities best, and I think we did. The food we ordered had a local nature... More

You should try the "trolley" with the meat. Every portion we ordered was delicious. I was disappointed with the "Bolognese" spaghetti. Since we were in a very good and restaurant, very well-known and we were in the homeland of this kind of food.... we definitely have tasted in a much better way in cousines all around the world. Expensive but... More

Had a quick dinner on a business trip with my colleague. Nice "old fashioned" environment and plenty of staff with white jackets on. Food was good, but there are now English menus. Due to this, my main couse was a plate full of different meats and nothing else. However the meat was great. Excellent house red Sangiovese for 18 euro's.

The place has a rather classic setting. I was here on a Wed this time and was surprised that there wasn't more guests. Had a nice starter and then fantastic larghissime, extra long pappardelle would be a way to describe them with a nice bolognese and then turkey as main.

Although for some reasons we deprived ourselves of splendid meat loaf and foods like that but it was a very expensive experience and it worths being there one time in life. Reminding old Italian restaurants in movies ...splendid

We opted to eat at Diana after a recommendation from a friend. Starters of tortelini and risotto was nice but mains of sole and veal was just average. We had a bottle of sauvignon and the bill was 130euro / i thought it was a bit much considering the night before, we ate at I Portici for 200euro, but will... More

This is wonderful place for lunch a classy place with prices that are reasonable. We had the lasagna; it was wonderful. The dessert was ice-cream topped with chocolate. The waiters are all dressed in white jackets; it was a good lunch, served well. This place is over 100 years old and right on the main street.
