With my friends, as they did not want to go, and I insisted that it would be a sin not to go here if in Bologna. We avoided Dessert at the Restaurant, and got here at about 11.30 pm. [Open 07.30am - 12.00pm]. 7th Heaven, to each his own flavour, or 2 or 3 , but if in Bologna, and... More

Super decor for gelateria and even you can't see the gelato that you order because of the poseto the gelato is so fresh and perfect, exactly as it should be. Amazing display for the semifreddo as well.

I never met a gelato that I didn't like, so I don't have a "favorite" place. But this one deserves special mention for the unusual flavors. It can be a zoo on a hot day--and not the most efficient in terms of service. You pay first and then select your flavors

I had heard that the gelatos here were very good so I went out of my way to visit. The gelatos were good but the man serving was very rude, ignored us and when we did finally manage to order, gave us slapdash service. I DO NOT recommend anyone to visit. The gelatos are good but the service is a... More

Just stunning quality. Some of the best gelato in the world - no arguments. The flavours are fresh and varied and the texture is first rate. Just go.

I have to say that I have no issues with the ice-cream itself. It was fresh and delicious. My issue is with the non-availability of waffle cones and the small portion sizes. I went 2x to the place during my stay, first purchasing a "media" (medium) size and then a "gigantica" (largest size). Both times I felt like the serving... More

This place was really good. Also liked that it was out of the way, meaning that, in spite of all the positive reviews, it was far less touristy than other spots closer to the center. It very much felt like a neighborhood joint.

Our B&B owner recommended this place. She said it has the best ice-cream in Bologna. I agree!! We in fact planned our last day of sight-seeing around making a second trip here in the afternoon. It is a few minutes walk from the main sights, but that walk is so worth it! The ice-cream was rich and very tasty. We... More

Seriously impressive and creamy with a huge range of freshly made flavours. Had a chocolate flavour and a mango flavour. Nothing like British or american ice cream, much more intensity of flavour.

Can you say creamy smooth and tasty ! Now I am spoiled after having this gelato - regardless of flavor. They were all so good! Make sure to take a few sample tastes so you can pick a favorite - warning - it will be tough !
