Good food, warm service in a place outside the tourist paths, but still central. Very good, cosy ambiance.

Really great place for dinner, nice old school trattoria. Delicious pasta, average price. Can really recommend a visit at this trattoria. The only downside was the waiting times, but I guess that's the price you have to take when the trattoria is full booked.

traveling through Bologna we stopped at this restaurant. The food was fresh and prepared in house. Simple dishes like Tortellini in Brodo were show stoppers. The Wild Boar with Polenta was one of the best things I have eaten. The staff spoke some English and brought over a few items for us to sample. Maybe it was just another great... More

Excellent food and service. Furthermore, you will have a chance to see Venetian-like canal through a secret window which is on the next wall to the restaurant.

A short stop in Bologna whilst working in Italy and I'm so glad I didn't miss this place. Great service, great steak and lovely pasta.

Really authentic Italian trattoria with a great atmosphere and food. Staff was looking after you and prices were a perfect match for the quality. They also served local wines for a very low price and the one we had was good. The waiters spoke a little bit of English and there were English translations in the menu.

A thoroughly delightful meal at every level. One of the highlights were there actually Italians eating there unlike the tourists strips nearby specialising in mediocrity. Value was remarkable for the quality of food and wine. Make a reservation to avoid missing out as it has limited tables inside and out. ( a bonus is that you get to see the... More

This place was recommended by a local and it was such a good choice. Quite possibly one of the nicest meals in Italy. The vegetables are slow roasted, and delicious. The lasagne is fantastic and home made. We had the parma Ham starter as well as the tortellini in broth which is so very good. The chef and owner came... More

This is a small neighborhood restaurant where the locals actually go. It is just around the corner from the Via Agosto Righi, where many of the restaurants are aimed at tourists. Walk the ten extra steps and come to a place where the cuisine is authentic. First, it is the cuisine of Emilia Romagna, but even within that, this is... More

Friendly, comfortable, English speaking, Large menu, offering besides the usual fare, roast goat and suckling pig. Had both. What a treat. Reasonably priced. Accepts reservations by email or telephone..
