Great food and wine in a charming place

We had wonderful cappelletti in brodo and very good beef fillet. Great Sangiovese wine from Pesaro hills (Mancini winery) and a glass of Visciole at the end. Service was perfect - a small entree and dessert was offered by the house. Place is quiet and charming. Price is very reasonable for this... read more

We were a group of 10 people and arrived after the lunch hour. We were pleased with the prompt and friendly service, the effort made by the owner to accommodate us and most of all we all really like our lunch. The restaurant is on a side street but look it up and I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Not Withstanding poor directions from our hotel, our dinner experience was wonderful. We received complimentary soup to start which was delicious. Shared the veal carpaccio starter. Mains were venison with polenta and vegetable flan. Complimentary dessert "starter", then a shared creme brûlée. Local white wine which was recorked to allow us to take the remainder back to our hotel. Everything... More

This is not a casual trattoria, but a very stylish, fine dining experience to be savoured and enjoyed without breaking the bank. Set in a small lane and upstairs the ambience is lovely. White walls, ancient beams and understated decor really set the scene. The food steals the show - sensational. Wonderful produce of the highest standard and prepared and presented... More

Restaurant was recommended by the staff at the Mamiani Hotel just outside the town. You park in the general public car park and take the lift up inside the Old City walls. Such fun. A 5 minute walks finds the restaurant up a side street. Very friendly and courteous staff. A good menu with lots of authentic Italian choices. A... More

Superb from start to finish. Excellent starters of parmigiano ice cream and porcini and potato flan followed by well cooked steak and venison. Wide ranging local Marche wine list, with interesting choice of dessert wines in particular. With friendly and welcoming staff in a historic old osteria what more could you want!

We had the best meal of our trip to Italy in this little gem, located on a side street and up the stairs. We were greeted warmly by the owners who showed us to a table next to a little window overlooking the cobbled street. We were astonished by the amazing, beautifully presented food. I started with a local melted... More

Recommended by the hotel and it was excellent. We were given a window table and the service was efficient and friendly. The food was really very good and we were given little extras such as delicious pea soup and later little glasses of Panna cotta . Marvellous evening

This is not a cheap restaurant, but the food and service are first-rate. In addition, to the normal three courses, the restaurant offered a complimentary soup started. I went for a local mixed cold-cut started, followed by a tagliata of beef with black truffle. The wine is by the bottle or by the glass (no carafe), but the prices are... More
