Hi this restaurant is not so bad...quick pizzas, tasty and average prices. Nice place to relax before you get battered by crowds in the Vatican Museum and Sisteen Chapel!!

Conveniently located within sight of the Vatican, it had good food at a good price & better value than those nearby. The staff were friendly, attentive & keen to please. The brother & sister who run it are great characters. We were given free bread, deliciously dressed olives & tasty pecorino cheese with our bottle of wine! We stayed for... More

The prices of this restaurant comparing to close ones are better. We ordered pizza and pasta. Food was good and in time. The chief, I guess, looked around customers to be sure if everything is okay. We also got two presents. A bread with jam and dessert straight from the chief. At the end we weren't surprised that the bill... More

Arrived early for our tour through Vatican museum and St Peter's and decided to eat something around the museum. After reading all the bad reviews for Caffè Vaticano which is right across the museum, we walked around looking for a different place, found this restaurant which is two blocks from the museum, located in the corner, not too big inside... A simple menu very well done. The best pasta I have had in years! Considering its right in the heart of Rome, it's very reasonable indeed. Hope to return for lunch tomorrow.

Bringing groups to Rome can be daunting, combining culture with practicalities. On exiting the museum, my students are ready to eat. We found Ristorante dei Musei, through a chance meeting with the charismatic Maria, who recommended her brother, Julio's, restaurant. On exiting the museum, cross the road, go down the steps, take a left and it is there on the... More

We wandered into this place after a day in the Vatican museum... only to find it filled with Official Tour Guides from every continent on Earth. The food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. It's a simple place with a fantastic atmosphere. Some old guy, stood up and started a spontaneous opera, then the owner and his sister joined in. The... More

It's a great place to eat in Rome. Traditional italian food, not expensive and fantastic atmosphere! It's obvious that this restaurant's owners love what they do :)

Stopped here for a drink and to use the restrooms. Typical of any museum cafeteria style establishment.

We decided we had better eat before going to the Vatican Museum since we were toting along a 5 and 7 year old. We were early for a typical Italian lunch but we were welcomed in anyway. The best part is most everything on the menu was 6 Euro. The pizza was decent and quick. The boys had their tummy's... More
