The staff are slow and the choice of food is quite limited but I don't think you can find better in Vatican City.

We were welcomed in like friends. The menu is simple and cheap. Most entrées only 7 euros. Service was fast, the place is clean and the food was delicious. Also the owner brought lots of extras to our table no charge for us to taste. Great place!

What a great place to spend a long lazy lunch! Having stumbled across this trattoria/restaurant we were more than pleasantly surprised with the 'special treats' that made their way to the table between courses. The menu seemed quite basic (most items being 7 euros) - however the food was great but the hosts and fellow diners were better. We enjoyed... More

Visited here for Lunch Tip: I struggled to find the place as it's right on the corner of the road. Also, it has the word "pizziera" in the title so just be aware. We loved this place. Great food with fantastic staff. I had the spaghetti which arrived with the pan. I had the bruschetta, spaghetti with tomato sauce and... More

We took our daughter to rome in January and we stumbled across this restaurant and we are very glad we did! Mamma and the family welcomed us openly and even treated us like family. We had pasta and wine which was exceptional both in quality and value. There was a birthday party in as well and we were given some... More

If you are on vacation in Rome you will likely visit the Vatican Museums. After you visit the Vatican Museums, I highly recommend that you stop at this restaurant before you head to line up to access the Basilica of San Pietro (the line is usually very long and you don't want to be starving while in the queue, right?).... We went here after an exhausting tour of the Vatican, and were absolutely thrilled by it. The owner greeted us like long lost friends, and joked and chatted as we went to our table. The food was great, varied, and fantastic value: pretty much everything on the menu, was around the 7€ mark. The half-litre carafe of house red was... More

Me and my husband found this place tucked in one street behind the main row of restaurants across the entrance to the Sistine Chapel. It was still early for an Italian lunch, so relatively quiet. The owners were very very friendly. I have travelled across Italy many times, including Trentino, Veneto, Tuscany, Rome and Naples and genuinely this was the... More
