Best lunch in Italy this trip

The location is one-of-a-kind, perched on the ancient hillsides among the remains of Roman temples. For lunch, I highly recommend eating outside as it's beautiful and as romantic as it gets. Every course of food was phenomenal, with the appetizer platter beautifully presented and every item was... read more

This is one of the loveliest restaurants in Italy. Perched high on a cliff in the old city center of Tivoli it comes complete with its own Roman Ruin and overlooks a waterfall. The food is outstanding cucina typica. Unfortunately it is a distance (4 km) from the Villa d'Este making a combo lunch and visit to gardens/villa difficult. A... More

We've been to Sibilla about 8 times in the past 18 months; it's always the centrepiece of a day trip from Rome to the area, featuring Villa Adriano and Villa d'Este. The setting is stunning with two small temples part of the outlook, a range of tables under a large wisteria-covered pergola, or under the sun if it's not too... More

Aside from all the great things that could be said about this restaurant, there is one thing to keep in mind... THEY CLOSE MID DAY AND DON'T OPEN AGAIN TILL LATE (their tripadvisor posted hours are not accurate). This detail, which you should clarify prior to your arrival in Tivoli is the only negative I can think to mention. I'm... More

The restaurant sent a golf caddy car to pick us up from the Village, we sat enjoying ourselves as it wound itself through the various narrow streets. Upon entering the restaurant you are blown away by the terrace which looks down onto a valley below. The Temple of Vesta stands in all it's glory and you are blown away by... More

I feel a responsibility to add the necessary shade to the light this restaurant is somehow enjoying. We spent a week eating all over Italy and Sibilla managed to secure the impressive achievement of both the worst food and the priciest bill. I would genuinely rather drop into the motorway services outside Tivoli than book a table here again. I... More

We dined in this restaurant as a group of three. It is in a stunning location with the nearby monument floodlit at night - I believe it would be a beautiful setting in the daytime. We found the restaurant hot and stuffy and it was a windy night so outside was not an option. When requested they turned the air... More

we were recommended by the hotel concierge to visit the resturant as part of our visit to Tivoli. We managed to order some water and waited around 30 min to get some attention and place an order. so we decided to eat elsewhere... view is beautiful especially if you chose the garden tables. However, level of service is poor and... More
