Awesome!

We were on a day tour to Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este, but we were on our own for lunch. Our guide gave us some general information about where she was eating and time frame. I had researched in advance lunch options in Tivoli and Sibilla was at the top of my list. We showed our guide our... read more

This friendly family restaurant is found down a side street in Tivoli and is difficult to find. However, it is well worth the effort. The food was excellent - traditional Italian food, freshly prepared with the finest ingredients. We sat outside under the pergolas where there is a beautiful view of the valley and two pre-Christian Roman temples. One of... More

What was meant to be an enjoyable family lunch turned into a disaster. Having been en outraged to order starters as our main course would be some time, one main course arrived before any starters. This was miscalled and give to the wrong person. One inexperienced waiter tried to remove dishes before they were finished. They then tried to give... More

This must be THE most fantastic location in Italy & the food isn't half bad either, a winning combination! The restaurant stands on the edge of the gorge of the Gregorian Villa set beneath the Roman temple - so beautiful & romantic. Crisp white tablecloths, excellent service & beautifully cooked & presented food from an open grill made this an... More

This is our second visit to Sibilla, this time with our 3 children. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful with the kids. The food was excellent, especially the 3 tiered starter and of course the views are incredible. We had a relaxing, atmospheric lunch and would recommend that anyone travelling in Rome take a day trip to Tivoli to... More

Lunch under the wisteria trees was truly special. When you go be sure to order steak from the wood grill - incredible. The appetizer samples (land or sea) were large, varied and a great sampling of Italy. We ordered the double spritzer to start (10 euros) and were served a fish bowl of spritzer - slightly embarrassing, but refreshing just... More

Tucked away down a street so small its only for bicycles or the restaurant's golf cart you discover Sibilla- a beautiful history temple of fine fabulous food . Its been in the family since 1700's- 500 years of excellence amid historic ruins overlooking the Tibur river. Nicely air-conditioned inside dining room and beautiful open-air deck. Cannot say enough about the... More

Stayed at BB Palazetto and this restaurant in the old Medieval center was just a short romantic walk away. A great terrace view over the river and falls with private after hours access to the temples. Top notch friendly service. Delicious in season and innovative dishes. Appetizer, pasta, and dessert around 70 euros. Classy building with great history on the... More

Beautiful restaurant with the best location in Tivoli right next to the Temple of Sybil and overlooking Parco Gregoriana. Our food was excellent too and the prices were much better than we were led to believe. We spent about 30 euro for lunch including two entrees an appetizer and water. We were very pleased with the experience.

Uniquely located with a small roman temple alongside the restaurant and truly spectacular views. The restaurant has a long history and has entertained some very distinguished visitors. Very nicely presented food which was very much enjoyed. Service was very helpful and friendly. The weather was not at its best when we were there but staff were very happy to help... More
