Why Tivoli? To see the various villas, of course! Sibilla apears to be for tourists -- its garden includes a pretty spectacular view of both ancient ruins and a gorge with a waterfall -- but several of the tables were locals on our visit. The pasta was unusual and perfect. The antipasta was a selection of raw seafood; very fresh,... More

A friend had told me about this restaurant years ago and I finally got to it. It is amazingly beautiful, built around two ancient temples and overlooking a gorge with waterfalls. Also, it has an outdoor dining area completely shaded by large old wisteria, which was blooming when we were there. Get the three tiered appetizer (either the meat or... More

This was the perfect time of year to sit under the fully blooming wisteria that is 300 years old. One cannot find a more pleasant setting to have lunch. If you choose the chefs choice you should like very well done meats. Fortunately, that is my preference but I know for many the chicken I had would be too dry.... More

This review summarises three visits - all wonderful. I've visited for lunch 3 times: with picky elders who wanted to sit inside; with a family with young kids who wanted to tear around and with a mixture - grandparents and young kids. Sibilla developed as a restaurant to serve the needs of painters on the Grand Tour who wanted to... More

We ate dinner at Sibilia at recommendation of hotel. We were picked up and transported back and forth in a golf cart. Very good ambience and service. Excellent sea food antipasto served on three tiers. MORE than enough fot two people. My wife had a pasta dish that was homemade and delicious. My ossa Bocco was a little fatter than... More

Sibilla was recommended to us by our guide Agnes and it did not disappoint. The five of us shared two antipasto dishes, charmingly served on multi-tiered platters, and the selections were delicious. The wood burning fireplace was a welcome touch on a cold, rainy day.

Historical restaurant serving kings and queens since the 1700s. Must go on a bright, sunny, warm day so you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the view of the temple of Vesta and of the landscape around it. The menu is varied and the dishes are traditional yet very tasty. The table service is good but the only flaw... More

What a pleasure for us to eat outside in February! The very best food - great fresh ingredients cooked simply and excellently! This restaurant has been patronised by, among others, il principe Girolamo Napoleone, Princess Margaret, Yoko Ono and now me and my best friends! Pranzare italiano lungamente in tensione dell'affresco di Al! Log live Italian al fresco dining!
