It was a lovely day on Holiday Season. The restaurant was almost full. We ordered all type of starters and they were amazing! Sibilla is an elegant and stylish restaurant. The garden seating was closed due to the season but the view and atmosphere was wonderful. The service was a bit slow(I guess it was because of the crowd and... More

This is the must-go place in Tivoli: an old inn dating back to the 1720s, run by members of the same family, located right next to the ancient roman temple of the Sybil of Tivoli, by the edge of a cliff. The location is, simply put, stunning: you get to see both ruins from antiquity and the ravine below. I... More

If you are in Tivoli a must go this restaurant is, make reservations, especially on the weekends, romantic, roman ruins in its patio, what a find this place was 20 years ago and what a find it is today, family run, great service, antipasto out of this world, had the gamberi apps or shrimp appetizer, pastas were awesome, my wife... This is our fourth time here and probably not our last. But this past time there was little to choose from and what we did have was very so so. For the expense it should have been much more impressive. The pasta courses were all vegetarian and not varied enough and the fish dish was tiny. The appetisers were not... More

Location is wonderful. Sitting outside right next to ancient ruins, it was almost surreal. The antipasto was delicious. The Cecio Peppe was unique but equally tasty. Service was very good and our party of 3, including a true Roman, left happy.

The location is one-of-a-kind, perched on the ancient hillsides among the remains of Roman temples. For lunch, I highly recommend eating outside as it's beautiful and as romantic as it gets. Every course of food was phenomenal, with the appetizer platter beautifully presented and every item was explosive with flavor. The inside dining facilities are exquisite and I have to... More

This is one of the loveliest restaurants in Italy. Perched high on a cliff in the old city center of Tivoli it comes complete with its own Roman Ruin and overlooks a waterfall. The food is outstanding cucina typica. Unfortunately it is a distance (4 km) from the Villa d'Este making a combo lunch and visit to gardens/villa difficult. A... More

We've been to Sibilla about 8 times in the past 18 months; it's always the centrepiece of a day trip from Rome to the area, featuring Villa Adriano and Villa d'Este. The setting is stunning with two small temples part of the outlook, a range of tables under a large wisteria-covered pergola, or under the sun if it's not too... More

Aside from all the great things that could be said about this restaurant, there is one thing to keep in mind... THEY CLOSE MID DAY AND DON'T OPEN AGAIN TILL LATE (their tripadvisor posted hours are not accurate). This detail, which you should clarify prior to your arrival in Tivoli is the only negative I can think to mention. I'm... More
