We have seen it from outside and have decided to have our lunch there. The place is well decorated and had a nice, pleasant music. But the menu was nothing so special, very expensive and flavors were very plane. The simple salad starts there from 12 euro, if you want to have a bread - you need to pay an... More

Situated next the the Spanish Steps and the high price shopping district is a great restaurant called 'GiNa'. With its clean, minimal esthetic and tasteful art pieces, this is a breath of fresh air for those looking to get away from heavy cheese meals or a panini with a bit more care. Light lunches or bigger meals are catered for... More

This very popular and trendy place is right around to the left of the Spanish Steps and is quite a change from the usual Italian food. We come from California and it could have been a place near our home. Having said that, it is a nice space -- lots of white furniture and "shabby chic" chair covers, etc. We... More

We got a picnic from here to eat in the nearby Villa Borghese park. The hamper contained everything we needed including a rug. The picnic itself was very filling and we couldn't manage to finish the chocolate dessert and the biscotti! At €40 for two people it isn't cheap but for a romantic picnic in the park with nice fresh... More

We had sandwiches there and it was very fresh. The price level is a bit higher, but I felt I got the proper value for my money. Alternatively, you can also "rent" a basket there and go for a pic-nic in the neighborhood.

We had picnic baskets prepared for after our tour of the Borghese gallery. They were terrific--every you need and then some, but also quite expensive. When we went to return the picnic baskets we had the chance to see the restaurant itself in action and the food look great! It's a lovely looking restaurant, too--very modern for Rome with a... More

We got a picnic basket for two and topped it up with an extra salad and a sandwich as we had three kids also. All the food was beautiful and we had more than enough to go around. As other reviewers have mentioned, the picnic basket really does include everything you'll need and the Borghese Gardens provide a truly memorable... More

Although, the place look great. We just took the pic nic basket to villa borghese park nearby. They think of everything, plates, plastic glasses. We ordered a salad and a sandwich, both big enough to feed two. It comes with bottles of water, coffee and desert, even the mats to sit on. Everything for 40 euros. For 60, you get... More

My wife wanted to go to Gina's because she had read that it was one of Giada's favorite places in Rome. They have a perfect location on the edge of the Borghese Gardens. They have full picnic baskets if you want, but we just got a salad and sandwich to take into the gardens. We shared a goat cheese and... More

The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, everything is white and tasty pastries are exposed in beautiful glass bells, it's definitely a "girly" joint. The service is perfect. They prepare freshly pressed juices and they have gorgeous healthy and fresh salads and sandwiches. I strongly recommend the picnic basket (salads, sandwiches, wine... and the blanket to put on the ground!) for a... More
